50L/m leak at 10 cm pressure???? That is only about 20L/m higher than the average mask interface out there at the same pressure, most other interfaces at that pressure are in the 28 to 32 L/m range. While "C" revision shows much improvement, it remains about 10L/m higher than most other interfaces ...

Re: Need a Full Face Mask -- Help Please!
I have been using a Mirage Swift II for about 3 weeks and like it a great deal. However, I have not been able to overcome my mouth breathing and realize I need to go to a full face mask in order to both make sure I am getting the best treatment and to eliminate annoying my wife with the sound of ai...

Hybrid - New Reimbursement Codes
My DME just called me today and said that I could get a new Hybrid mask (sans the headgear) because the mask has got a new Medicare reimbursement code that allows me to get a new mask every 3 months and the headstraps every 6 months. My Hybrid works fine but what not to like about getting a new mask...

So much negative sentiment towards Apria but not Lincare?
Can't help wondering why there is so much negative sentiment towards Apria and their attitude towards CPAP patients and CPAP equipment manufacturers but I hardly read anything negative about Lincare? Recently, so many CPAP users have expressed angst at Apria for not being able to provide them with H...

In Sept last year, I asked my local Apria branch for a Hybrid and they gave me the runaround. I know for sure the Hybrid had HCPCS codes then. In fact, I recall reading somewhere that it had a higher reimbursement than other masks. My feeling that Apria probably also gets a fat discount on the CPAP ...
