I can honestly say that I do not need an alarm clock! I have twin 3 year old daughters who do the job very nicely at 5am every day!!! They have not missed yet. Actually, it is the best wake up alarm I can think of!

My humble opinion is that you should always, ALWAYS use a surge protector of very good quality. There are other "occurances" besides lightning that can "fry" your machine (or you)!

Hi Berniem,

I know what you are talking about. It is definately a huge adjustment getting into a CPAP "happy mode". Don't give up... the results will make it worth your effort.

Probably just as well... I am just leaving the vcr clock alone and letting it blink at me for all eternity... that machine hates me! I hate to think how badly I could screw up my cpap maching if I tried to change the time!

Do we need to change clock settings on our cpap machines ton

I have a Remstar Pro M Series and I have no idea how to change its internal clock setting for DST or if we even need to. Has anyone else thought about this? I am resetting all my clocks tonight and this suddenly came to my mind.

Congratulations! And thank you for the reminder to keep on trying! I am in my second week and it is frustrating. Unfortunately, I had a flare up of gout this week and I am in so much pain from the gout that I am not sleeping well at night regardless. This too shall pass (I hope)!

[quote="SleepySandy"]cletourn Have you been able to find what the different numbers mean? An AHI of < 5 is considered normal. An AHI of 0.4 is definitely good. Are you having any large leaks? Large leaks matter because the machine doesn't recognize events during large leaks. The numbers you're posti...

If you get up to use the washroom for example and shut off the machine this usually starts a new session (but not always, I have no idea why. Another Resperonics mystery) I find that when I get up at night to go to the bathroom, the session doesn't end. I get separate sessions if I stop treatment f...

But Jim, he only gets 4 days of data. Not 7. Is that the dreaded M series glitch? [The smart card stores seven sessions, not seven days. If you get up to use the washroom for example and shut off the machine this usually starts a new session (but not always, I have no idea why. Another Resperonics ...
