Intellipap Humidifier Setting

Merry Christmas to everyone!

I am traveling and left my user manual at home for my new Intellipap Autopap. Can anyone tell me how to increase the humidification? I am either a complete dork or the humidifier is just a little smarter than I am.

Happy Holidays!

Re: Looking for a New Machine

Thank you for your responses. I have actually have had my current maching since 11/2004 and my insurance will cover the cost but it is only at 50% reimbursment rate. I will take a look at the the other machines that were recommended.
Thanks,
Teri

Looking for a New Machine

Hi All, It has been a really long time since I have posted here. I can truly say that I could not have made it though my first few months on CPAP without this forum. The information and comradarie was and still is amazing. I currently have a Remstar Auto that has over 13000 hours on it and while the...

Re: Travel with the Cpap

I highly recommend purchasing some very large zip lock type bags to place your Xpap etc. in to ensure that it is kept clean and germ free. You don't really want to put your machine in where everyone puts there shoes and other gook! I always ask the TSA agent to put on fresh gloves and they ususally ...

Wow it has been a while since I have been up here... I use Tegaderm works great and you can find it in bulk on line. The 2 3/8 X 1 5/8 (i think) is the size that I use and I cut them in half. Doesn't pull your skin off and sticks great!
Best!

Re: Cpap and women

Hi Babette, Tegaderm is a type of transparent dressing that can be used to cover up and I.V. site or a cut you don't want to get dirty or wet. I use the 2 3/8 x 2 3/4 size and purchase them in a 100 pack and cut them in half on the long side. I like them becasue they are easy to remove and I dont ha...

Re: Cpap and women

Hi All, I was DX'd with OSA almost 4 years ago, although I beleive that I have had OSA most of my life. I am almost 45 and feel so much better now that I am on CPAPtherapy. I can't imagine not using my mask every night! I am currently using a Activa nasal mask and tegaderm to tape my mouth. When I w...

Hi NeedinZ's,

That could be a factor that I had not taken into consideration... Thank you for that thought!

Hi Den, I don't really have any other medical conditions right now... my BP was up for me... 130/80 which i realize is low, but for me that is high, I am usually at 113/68. I just increased my pressure yesterday, so I guess it will tak a couple of days to see how I respond. I am currently using my m...

Tired and Headaches again

Hi All, It has been a while since I have posted any messages, but I have been checking in from time to time. I have been religiously using my APAP since first DX'd back in late 2004. For the last couple of months I seem to be back to feeling tired and having headaches, more like migraines. I have be...

Happy Holidays to all! I just returned from our everyother year christmas trip to Tulsa, OK. All of the TSA folks that we ran into were great. As a matter of fact on our return trip, the TSA agent who swabed by machice was also a fellow hose head. He actually had a great tip that i thought i would p...

I have traveled multiple times with my APAP and have always carried it on with me. Yes it is a little bit of a pain, but better that than not having my machine. Last Aug. we travelled to the east coast for vacation and all of our checked luggage was "misplaced" by the carrier. Most of our luggage we...
