Cpap cant reinflate the lungs, this is why. The lungs are surrounded by two membranes call the Pleural membranes, btw this two membranes there has to be a negative pressure (-5cm of H20), this negative pressure is what causes the lung to reinflate after the lungs have exhale the air out. You have to be a little more specific, how many pillows do u use? What kind of antianxiety meds are you taking? Paxil + Xanax? Are you short of breath when going up the stairs? Do you have swollen feet? is that the only symptom? You should ask your doctor for a Chest xray PA and lateral. wild guesse...
