I have an apap. I have been on it for almost two weeks. The data has really helped me with mask leaks and such. I started noticing an improvement after 3 or 4 days which would only last for a few hours in the morning. It seems as time goes by the improved feeling lasts longer through the day. I am v...

Generally, dental devices are recommended for mild to moderate apnea. Just looking at the CPAP Pro, it would appear that it would be difficult to keep your lips together to prevent leaks. 5000? Not unless that includes sleep studies, and you don't really know if the device is working without one. De...

Thanks Brenda. I will look at the data to see if there are high pressures coniciding with leak events. I have been working on adjusting my mask and my leaks have been decreasing every night.

Pressure adjustment?

My titration study showed a pressure of 14. I have my APAP set at 4-20. After 3 nights my max pressure has been 10. If this trend continues, should I lower the upper pressure setting? If yes, why? My only problem (other than mask tweaking, etc.) so far has been this: I have awakened once or twice ea...

That was probably my biggest motivator in pursuing treatment. I knew I was "tired", but not in a life threatening way. My OSA was mild due to the number of events per hour. However, the 48% oxygen really got my attention. I am an obsessive fitness freak and have no lung problems. Go figure.

I just wanted to be able to track my oxygen levels at home. Even though I have "minor" OSA, my oxygen levels dropped to 48% during my original PSG.

Got it

Right click on the date under the "Interaction List", choose "View Interaction Report", then choose "Full Details". Cool.

Thanks

smartcard/encore 1.6

Well, I made it through the first night. I wore the thing all night and only had 3 near death experiences. LOL I just turned and walked away from the light. Question: I can't figure out how to get the "daily details" report. All I get is the compliance report that shows the hours of usage and min/ma...

Thanks, I agree that the tech probably would have come in if the mask had been leaking. I will go ahead and try one of the FF masks. It seemed like the one in the study was fairly comfortable by the end of he evening.

Mask

I've had the study and the titration study done, and I making a decision on a machine. My titration study had me with a pressure of 14 producing no events. However, the report stated this was observed for 7 minutes so I wonder how accurate this number really is. My question is: The titration was don...
