It might have been several things, such as: waiting for a train & then wakeing up only to find no train on the tracks or any cars in front of me. Only cars behind me honking thier horns. Or maybe it was falling asleep while eating, or sitting on the side of the bed & then takeing a header into the w...

I had the same problem when they raised my pressure to 18. My humidifier was set at 2 & I had a huge amount of sinus problems, so I lowered it to 1. It didn't help a bit. (made for a lousy deer season) It wasn't until I went back to the Doc for my checkup that he told me that with the increase air f...

If you already have a sore nose you may want to keep the med. pillows handy. You will know if the larges are too large, because they will irritate your nose even more. I have been told that one should use the smaller as long as you can get a good seal & the base doesn't try to enter the nose. I am s...

Now I am confused, when you say the exhaust holes in the pillows are blowing up. They should be pointing downward away from your face. I have better luck just letting the hose hang instead of using the velcro. There shouldn't be any leaks on the ends if it is put together right. Hang in there & it w...

I know this is a silly question but could it be that your pillows are in backwards & the air is blowing down on your upper lip? This is a common mistake when some people first try this system. (The line of holes in the pillow face out away from your face.) Also if it is in backwards it will really t...

Nice Pic. Jeff but I think you could have done a little better on the caption like----A picture of a retired Proctologist that can't figure out why no one
wants to greet him with a hand shake.

Hi Dreamstalker I can't say how the bipap works since I use a vpap, but I can tell you how the vpap works. My inhale pressure is 18 & exhale at 14. It self adjust to my breathing patterns & if they change so does it, but not with more pressure but when to start the next breath based on the last few ...

Like the little old lady in the hospital said after she was asked if she enjoyed her breakfast: Everything was just wonderful except that Kentucky Jelly. lol I guess KY would be the best for the buck, but I prefer (Ayr Saline Nasal Gel) with Aloe Vera. I put a small amount on a Q-Tip & run it around...

Bob I thought I might throw my 2 cents in on this subject. I use the Swift Nasal Pillows with great results. It's lightweight and nonconfining as some of the masks. Anytime I use a mask if it puts even the slightest pressure against my nose it closes of my air passage & I rip it off & throw it in th...

I have also had this problem a few months ago. My seting on my humidifer
was set at 3 on a scale of 1 to 6, so I cranked it up to 5 and haven't had the burning smell since. But have a full beard so the gills I'm growing are hardly noticable.
