Re: OSCAR version 1.7.1 now available
Last night was the first good night in a while. I used the f20 with the comfort cushion. I got 99 points from Resmed with a perfect mask fit. I think this has something to do with a growing Thyroid which might trigger CAs and OAs. So I sent a message to my Endocrinologist as we were talking about re...

Re: OSCAR version 1.7.1 now available
Pugsy you asked me if I wake up a lot during the night and I don't. I sleep very soundly as a matter of fact my machine went off and I slept for 4 hours with the mask on and I don't even know how I did it because without air coming in you would think that would have woken me up. Getting to sleep is ...

Re: OSCAR version 1.7.1 now available
No I'm capable of doing it I just don't have my website anymore because I'm semi-retired and I'm a little hesitant about putting this stuff on public sites and what I'm talking about is the Oscar information. Actually I found my SD card, embarrassingly enough it was in the machine I just didn't see ...

Re: OSCAR version 1.7.1 now available
I took pictures of the last two nights results but I don't know how you get them in here as I think it's always been a little bit of a problem. I see the symbol for pictures and when I hit it it puts And I don't know what I'm supposed to put in between. It does not take me to the gallery of my phone...

Re: OSCAR version 1.7.1 now available
Let me give you a rundown. By the way it seems like the Oscar I'm using is from 2024 I think it's 1.51 or something like that not 1.71 which is the new one and I'm not sure which one I need the 32-bit or the 64-bit. I have a feeling I can use either one because I have a Windows 11 computer with dece...

Re: OSCAR version 1.7.1 now available
For some reason I don't think doing all that extra work would make it easier to use.. ironically, I went to look at last night's progress cuz I slept almost 8 hours It had a 2.0 AHI which is very good for me these days but I only got one point out of 20 on the on the leaks. My sleep doctor's office ...

Re: OSCAR version 1.7.1 now available
Is there any way to use Oscar on a cell phone? I have an air curve 11 and a Samsung s25 Ultra. I mean something would have to be transmitted I guess out of the aircraft 11 or I need some kind of reader for the s25 Ultra.

Re: NEW RESMED MACHINES AVAILABLE
My internist, who has sleep apnea It is really a good doctor, had me do the nighthawk test from ResMed and I was having probably AHIs of below 20 range which I think is much better than what I had in the past. The internist thinks I might be better off with the CPAP machine as I'm having high leaks ...

VirtuOx, AC11, F20 and Contour apnea mask
The only thing I left out is I lost about 50 lb on Ozempic, And one night I fell asleep without the machine and I had the best night of sleep that I've had in a long time. Everybody was right and I was wrong to go with the Air Curvie 11 because it leaks and it shuts off when it senses its own leak. ...

Re: F20 Hydroplaning off your face at a 15 IP
I'm not doing well with either the F20. By raising up the mask higher on the vision of my nose at eye height and I'm getting great marks on mess sale 19 of 20 and 20 of 20. I slept all night and I woke up at 7:30 and it said I slept 1:37 with 36 apnea events, most of them were centrals. And when I w...

Re: F20 Hydroplaning off your face at a 15 IP
I went back to the videos and I found one that I didn't see the other day and in that one it said to put the air fit F20 higher on the bridge of your nose so it's like right in the middle of your eye. That means the very inside bottom of the silicon mask itself was in the crease but leaning up to wh...

Re: F20 Hydroplaning off your face at a 15 IP
Tightening up the straps of your mask doesn't help? They tell you not to make it super tight But I did anyway cuz I looked at the top straps and they were just about as high as they could go and the bottom straps which have the push button crappy connection can only be made so tight or they pop off...

Re: F20 Hydroplaning off your face at a 15 IP
The only way it would "hydroplane" is if your face was wet. If your humidity is too high your face could get wet at night causing "farting like" leaks. If it gets too wet, I guess the mask could move a little. 15 cm(H2O) is not an extremely high pressure. I had it at 5 with the P30i and when I trie...
