My humidifier started flashing one night. I turned it off and back on and it was ok. I have no idea why it was flashing.

This is now missing from the software list in the profile section. It was there before Respironics pulled the software from public sale. Seems a little cheesy to remove it from the list of software though. I know many people were able to get the new version.

You're right. The A-Flex works on inhale and exhale where the C-Flex just works on exhale.

Respironics does make a machine like the ASV now.

Go to Preferences - System Settings, and click the little box for "Prompt to 'Keep Compliance Data on Smart Card after Download' after a download."

The Encore Pro software v. 1.8.49 does not erase the card automatically after you download the data. It prompts you whether you want to leave the compliance data intact.

I just switched from a cpap to an apap and I find that the vent rate on the Hybrid® is a problem. Tonight I'm going to tape over some of the vent holes to lower the rate. There are eight holes in all.

I've already cut off the chin support which helped stop leaks.

Of course you know that you can't run the apap when the vehicle engine is running since the voltage goes too high from the alternator.

I downloaded this one and it worked the same as the driver on the encore Pro cd.

I'm 62 and was diagnosed last November. Probably had it most of my life but it got really bad the last couple of years. I'm fine now with apap.

Sounds like it might be a problem with your smart card or software. I would recommend that you e-mail Mako Technologies. They responded really fast to me and were very helpful.
