It is impossible for water to have passed into the machine, since i have been very carefull with the HH. I am not sure about humidity though.
And I am still very curious about the E-87 which seems to be undocumented for an auto/c-flex.

Thank you offlineon,

news is that things got worse,
now the machine pauses at an error message:
E-87

I had found a document about remstar error messages, but the list ends at E-86

Anyone knows about E-87 or an updated document about remstar error messages?

strange problem with remstar auto cflex

Hi dear friends, I wonder if anyone is familiar with this kind of problem on a remstar: I plugged in my machine yesterday night and noticed that the pressure was unstable. at random intervals (about twice a minute) it would lower the fan rpm and produce much less pressure for a few seconds. The mach...

I strongly disagree. I think you will wake up ONLY when you become oxygen deprived.

Re: what if the power goes out

I am not worried if I am awake when it goes off, but what if I'm asleep. Can I get enough air from the exhaust ports? I think not. Hopefully something will wake me as I sleep alone. Has anyone experienced this happening? ... It has happened to me once. The point is that I can't get enough air throu...

Re: additive to humidifier

Does any one know of a non oil based additive that can be placed in the humidifier to aid chronic rhinitis . Can't breath, difficult to use the C-PAP This sounds like a technicaly ineffective and dangerous idea. Why should you fill your lungs all night with something that you need for your nose and...

It should be much cheaper to use a big gel lead battery and an automatic lead battery charger. This way it would also be easier to charge it on the car in case there is no power for long time. The PC UPS takes AC, charges batt, and inverts to give AC again. Too much waste of energy and components if...

As about cpap causing aerophagia, i have noticed the following: How do you know if you have it? 2 ways -that i know of- 1 is that you realise you are suddenly swallowing big air - feels strange and wakes you up if it happens just when you fall asleep 2 is that you get air little by little in the sto...

I've never caught a whiff of anything once I got it put back from the shop. I would not risk that since there are countless odorless dangers for owr lungs. Besides that, even if some material has been tested for health safety, its impossible to have been tested for any combination that might come u...

oops! i just noticed that there is something wrong with your machine information. The machine displayed in your post is the M series pro, while the card is a resmed one.
Please confirm what type of machine you have.

My current heat setting is 5 (the maximum) Im a newbie with cpap, but i see that when setting that thing on 5 its too much, so maybe the answer is not gettin more humidity. I think that if it would go higher than level 5, it would be uncomfortable for the lungs and the rainout would be uncontrolled.

I have aerophagia problems also. I did notice that it takes place just when cflex restores high pressure, but even if i turn cflex off, i still have the same level of aerophagia. So i figured that -in my case- the problem is not related to cflex in another way than that it seems to "time" the event....
