I'm almost through my week of straight CPAP. Interestingly, I again had a great night the first night of new settings (ahi of 1.7) and then declined again. Though certainly better than last month! The Swift is really starting to irritate my nose. very sore and tender during the day, tried to loosen ...

That's certainly a possibility. I for one don't really know what's happening with Carla, with the amount of information that has been presented so far. But I do know that episodic factors tend to bear much better patterns over several nights of data, versus one, two, or three. I also agree with all...

I forgot to ask, how are you feeling with the use of lower pressure? With the frequency of events in the past you probably have a pretty good sleep deficit built up, so it is good to see you are getting 8-9hrs of sleep, 9hrs is ideal if you can swing it. Well, all things considered it seems to be i...

Data for the last two nights is up again.... http://family.wiseoak.com/charts3.html Nothing as good as that first night of changes...My nights were never very consistent though, so I think I'll keep at these settings for week, and then maybe try a straight 9 for comparison. Oh, how I'd love to have ...

Re: Respironics M Series
Depends on the humidity setting you use I think. In my case, I do refill every night. But I think at 1 or 2 I could go 2 nights.....

Wow. Sorry I didn't get to post anything yesterday but I got caught up in a bunch of holiday projects all day. First off, here's some data I remembered...I've been on the apap and hybrid since mid october....that's when I got Encore and was able to chart, too, so no data before that. Sleep positions...

Your leak is HIGH, it may be skewing your results but your ideal pressure seems to be 6.0cm to 10.0cm Maximum. The machine is also "misreading" your central sleep apnea events as obstructive. LIMIT your Max. pressure to 10.0cm!!! My bloated belly loves you for saying that!! You may have other under...

Re: Help! Still Sleepy, MyEncore Reports, etc.
Ok, I've reposted my charts, this time without my last name. And I did it with Encore Pro Analyzer, which I downloaded today, so there should be more info.

After a week of new settings and good journaling <fingers crossed>, I'll post another set.

Help! Still Sleepy, MyEncore Reports, etc.
I was diagnosed with apnea a year ago. 122 episodes a minute, prescribed a pressure of 13. I was bad...fell asleep uncontrollably every afternoon, would almost pass out after the least bit of exertion, etc. Spent several months on my dad's old cpap and a new Swift Mirage. Saw a definite improvement,...
