Thanks everyone! I've got new insurance, so maybe I can get a replacement early. Then, I can use flex dollars to try an aura since I'm a side sleeper...... Also, is there a full face mask for side sleepers? I'm a mouth breather and have, so far, just taped my mouth shut. I thought maybe it would be ...

Swift Nasal Pillows Popping Out
Hey - I've been on CPAP since November. I use the Swift Nasal Pillow mask. It worked great until about a month ago. Since then, I can't keep the right pillow tight to my face. It keeps popping out at night and waking me with the exhaust. I try tightening the top strap and then the back strap. Loosen...

Hi - I, too, work for a not-for-profit organization. Because of costs, we always have to share rooms. I haven't found it to be a problem, but we all get along really well. As a matter of fact, my friends just giggle when they see me with my mouth taped shut! I'm a big talker and I tease that there h...

I'm about two months into therapy and am experiencing the same difficulty gettting up. I sleep through my alarm and when I do wake up, I smell and snuggle back. I feel so much more energy - less depression, etc. I really believe I'm just making up sleep and that it's so much fun to sleep now that I ...

I may to send the first love letter to my husband. Naw - maybe the second! Anyway, I've use earplugs for the last couple of nights and it seems to be really working. he's been sick and one night I could hear him faintly through the ear plugs. I've teased him unmercifully about that.... Try it - it's...

My family members are all brass players and singers and all cpap. HMMM. ..maybe playing and singing is a negative correlation? Just kidding. Anyway none of us had trouble adjusting. My big brother, however, was an AVID Drum and Bugle Corps follower...OK - he was really a FANATIC about it going to 20...

Hi - I, too, deal with depression and know all about side effects and finding the right drug. I just Googled Paxil and found that drowsiness and fatigue can be side effects. As with all anti-drepressants, the side effect can last a week or two or be permanent. I'm not a doctor - but in my experience...

My husband might be snoring more - I'm not sure.... No alcohol. No changes in food this week when exhaustion returned. I have Resmed M Series with c-flex and attached humidifier. Smart Card. Got my machine directly from the sleep clinic and not a DME. I don't have software to read it and don't want ...

Did well - now exhaustion returns - any help?
OK - I started on CPAP the day after Thanksgiving. I had immediate improvement. Got up without being tired. Didn't wonder when I could take a nap...didn't even take naps!! (Kind of missed them...) More alert. Less crabby and depressed. Now - the last few days - I've been exhausted! Sleep late (lucky...

Welcome! I'm a relative newbie myself. I started Thanksgiving week. It's kind of hard to sleep until you get used to it - but if you have an experience like me - you'll be SO glad you worked through it. I have much more energy - am not as depressed and don't fall asleep at 1:00 in the afternoon. I k...

swift nasal pillows exhaust question
Hi! I've a relative newbie - have been on CPAP since Thanksgiving. It's amazing how less stressful the season was this year. Sleep is amazing, isn't it? I noticed last night that the exhaust from my system is constant and doesn't change with inhaling or exhaling. Is that normal? If I take the mask o...
