Re: I owe Second Wind a public apology

Maybe I've learned the next time I hear a story like this I'll slow down and ask more questions first. You'd think being an old man I would have learned this already.

I owe Second Wind a public apology

Seems my buddy that bought the machine from them wasn't honest with me. He sent them the wrong script and they filled what he sent them. He only copped to this yesterday. They are being nicer than they have to be with him...have agreed to refund the money for the Vauto. They were out of stock on the...

Re: S9 VPAP vs. S10 VPAP

An update. He finally talked to the guy that sold him the machine Friday afternoon. This is what the guy told him. He said he would check on this and that he thought he could "turn the Vauto into an ASV machine". This left me shaking my head. 1. Can you now download new firmware into a machine and c...

Re: S9 VPAP vs. S10 VPAP

Yes it came from Second Wind. They, 1. sold him the wrong machine, 2. Didn't set it up, just left it with the settings wide open. He is going to call them today and see if he can get this resolved. My fear is that he is not a very assertive person so don't know how it will turn out. I'll keep you up...

Yes, he got the wrong machine. He got the VAuto not the ASV.

Thanks

Re: S9 VPAP vs. S10 VPAP

The more I think about it I'm wondering if he got the wrong machine. I don't know enough about the new machines yet. What is the new Resmed machine called that is = to the S9 VPAP Adapt ASV?

Thanks

S9 VPAP vs. S10 VPAP

Can someone explain the differences in the settings for these two machines. I use an S9 and a buddy just got an S10. He bought it thru Secondwind and they left it wide open, didn't set it up according to his script. The most confusing thing is there only seems to be one pressure spread setting, wher...

Re: Casper mattress

The problem with buying a mattress with a 30/60/90 day sleep guarantee is that often when the new mattress is delivered, the old one is taken away. If you don't like the new mattress and want to send it back...you have no mattress until you go out and shop for a new one and have it delivered. If yo...

Re: Casper mattress

In your opinion how does the Casper compare to the mattresses at Sam's Club and Costco? The price is in the same range. If your considering one, with the 100 day trial, why not? You can always send it back before then. My wife and I went looking at the Tempr-Pedic$, we got so confused (if that's th...

Re: Melatonin

I take 1mg at 9:30 and don't feel groggy in the morning. I think this is one of those things that a little is plenty. Walgreen's sells 1mg bottles.

Re: eye goggles to prevent blurred vision in the morning?

I've been wearing these for years, and they work really well 99% of the time. (nothing is perfect) http://www.amazon.com/TranquilEyes-Hydrating-Therapy-Basic-Black/dp/B000A5RRWE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1416146294&sr=8-1&keywords=tranquileyes+goggles Here's the trick I've found that works. 1. right be...

Re: Not sleeping thru the night

Audiobooks and podcasts for me. If I wake up I just throw on a podcast and fall asleep listening to that. I listen to bunches of podcast during the day. I'm afraid I'd just get interested in what they are talking about and really be up...but that is just me. Audiobooks might work though. Thanks JeffH

Re: Not sleeping thru the night

This used to happen to me. Anybody with this problem hit me up for a sample of the pur-sleep product. It really helped to solve that particular problem (my "alarm" time used to be 2:00 am, every night--it was uncanny). Bret Forgot about Pursleep. Used to use it all the time. May have to order some ...
