Hi All! At one time I was mouth breathing and freaking out. Got amazing help from this group. I taped my mouth (the polident strips grossed me out) and everything was great. Then after about 4 months I just got sick of it and stopped taping. My skin was very sore. I guess I had trained myself, but I...

Hi All! I have adult onset asthma and silent reflux. I use advair, singulair, and zyrtec for the asthma and nexium for the reflux. The allergist said I have no allergies, but I react to "irritants"...... I just went for a physical and I was wheezing like mad. My doctor, who is great, asked me what I...

strap pads
Hi All! I can't seem to find the posts telling where to buy the strap pads for my swift. I am going to try the toe pads, but I would also like to try the pads. I've been on the cpap for almost a year now at 10 pressure and all is fine. I sleep on my right side so that the air doesn't blow on my big ...

Tape 'er up!
Well... Last night I spent a bunch of time reading old posts. I'm 2 weeks into the CPAP. Two nights ago I woke up with such a dry mouth that my lip was stuck to my teeth and my tongue was stuck to the roof of my mouth and I came pretty close to panicking until I could get some water. So last night I...

DI water instead of distilled in humidifier
Hey All,
I use DI water (deionized) at work and was wondering if I could use that instead of distilled. It is free.
Thanks,
Shelley

Hello Everyone! I feel very lucky to have found this site. I have been using my CPAP for about 2 weeks now, and so far, so good. Last night I woke up only once, and my husband said I didn't move otherwise. I have dry mouth and I am not a mouth breather, so I think it is part of the "getting used to"...
