I found that putting my machine on the ground next to my bed cuts down on the water leaking onto my face. The water just runs back down the hose isntead of into my mask. Try it and see if it helps enough, if not the hose cover or heated hose should do the trick

I found compliance really difficult until I switched to an auto-pap machine with a heated humidifier. I think that made a difference for me. I also had to try a few masks before settling on the dream seal. I just couldn't get used to a nasal mask and a full face mask was not an option. My auto-pap m...

Newbie question...
I just got my heated humidifier and used it for the 1st time last night. It was all going great except after an hour or so I had water dripping down my cheeks from my mask. Is this rain-out ? My machine is on a bedside table and is just ever so slightly higher than my bed. If I move the unit lower t...

Remstar M series c-flex VS Remstar Auto
Hi all, I am a newbie and have only had my permanent machine (Remstar M series with c-flex) for 2 days. Apria had me using an apap during the initial week that they test you to determine your pressure and I had no trouble with it once I got used to it. Now I have the cpap and I don't like it. My sin...

I am a Kaiser patient too- here is my recent experience: I went to Kaiser Sleep Clinic with a group of others and got the sleep machine also. About 2-3 weeks later I got a letter from my doctor saying I had moderate sleep apnea but listed no specific results. I was to call the sleep disorder dept at...

Profile question....
I just completed the profile but couldn't find the mask that I use listed. I use the Breeze without the dreamseal but the dropdown menu only lists the Breeze with the dreamseal. Is there a way to override your equipment choices nad just type in what I use? Thanks....

Oh, and one more thing....
My profile shows that I use a Breeze mask with the Dreamseal attachment but I don't have the Dreamseal. There was no other choice for masks that I could see whn I set up my member profile. I just have the plain old Breeze mask. I don't use a humidifier either but don't get a dry, sore throat or anyt...

I have only been using cpap for 2 weeks and am already on my 2nd style of mask. I started with a comfort gel nasal mask and tried it for a week and honestly just couldn't tolerate it. I switched to the Breeze and feel its a big improvement. I am a side and back sleeper and the breeze is pretty good ...
