AHH Yes, I remember trying to keep my mouth shut too, while trying to use nasal masks! My answer was to take a 3mm Neoprene Wetsuit hood and simply cut out the chin cup and a strap system (Split Strap). This is/was the most effective and comfortable idea I ever came up with. This was one of the main reasons that I recently went to the "Total Face" type of mask, cold or no cold I have always had the same problem since going the FFM route on higher pressures. Only been a couple of weeks, but so far so good...Tear duct venting problem solved and a Lot fewer mask leaks too....

The saddest thing about VA services is the way they vary so much from region to region and hospital to hospital. I use the Albany NY VAMC and their service to local vets is above average. Respironics Total Face Mask ?

I'm interested in knowing if anyone uses or has used this mask...The testimonials are very positive on the product page, would just like some personal input. Have Used 2 other O/N FM's but just cannot reach any meaningfull compliance, have exausted the nasal option. Please Help
