But what do I do about the SINUS headaches I wake up with from the CPAP therapy. It feels like I'm pressurized and can't decompress for half the day. My eyes are all puffy looking. I also can't scuba dive, I can't equalize pressure in my sinuses as I go deeper. 5 feet under water is about all I ever...

Yes, I get relief from a medication called Frova. It is a medication that causes those dilated blood vessels to constrict and so relieve the headache. Imitrex is another medication for that. It makes me feel like an elephant is sitting on my chest however. Frova works best for me and I can take it a...

I used to get migraine headaches (pain, nausea, etc...) and wake with a rapid pulse and tremors often prior to CPAP. Now I wake up with sinus headaches. My sinuses just can't seem to get used to this, and they remain pressurized for half the day it seems. I just gotta pick which headache I want to h...

I'll try anything I guess
I think I'm headed for a FF mask, but I so love this little mask I have. There are no pressure points and very few leaks throughout the night. I get really tired of how DRY my nose and mouth get every night. and how stuffed up my sinuses get VS how they don't get stuffed when I sleep w/o my CPAP. I ...

I'd participate. i have this problem. some nights i do better than others. I will NOT tape my mouth shut, don't want to wear a full face mask. I wear a band under my chin. It's nice and cozy in the winter, but hot in the Summer. I also have a small pillow that I sleep with that is full of little foa...

Thank God for Respironics Simplicity
Thank God i finally found one that works! I just had my first test run with my new small Respironics Simplicity. And it's WONDERFUL. I'm so happy I could cry. I have been non compliant with my CPAP for months because the masks just hurt my face so much, didn't fit, leaked into my eyes, made sores o...

I'm really embarassed about passing so much "air" all the time. It keepss me away from people. I feel totally lousy if I sleep without the CPAP. I'm getting ...

forgot to ask
does your pressure need to be adjusted if you loose weight. I've lost 50 pounds since my prescription was made?

sore face and gas too
Sleeplesssue here again. I've been at this a little while now and I'm still having mask problems. I had a small comfort gel mask. It was too big, but the way the head gear fits is nice. Something about that gel made my face look like it had hives for most of the day, then all day later on. I got Bre...

Hey, I've always wanted a shorter, wider nose! Maybe it will work. I'll let you know. Oh yeah, my pillows sit mostly outside the nost and seal against the bottom part of the nares. Mine aren't round either, but it works pretty well anyway. The holes in my pillows aren't round either. I just angle t...

I have been sleeping with my Breeze for a few nights. I like it. It is much more comfortable that the comfort gel mask. Of course I sleep on my side. If I am on my back sometimes the head gear is not positioned quite right. This thing fits my nose just right, and I don't wake up with red marks on my...

well, as for me, I will enjoy being "abled" rather than dis-abled. I'm sure all of you would also. As many of you do, I also have several other medical problems, and did try to collect on the income I paid in for Disability. I have been turned down. I didn't really want to apply in the first place, ...

Ok folks, I tool my mask to my Dr. appt. today and showed him how it fits. He agreed it is too big. I told him I might like to try nasal pillows so he wrote me a script. The only ones they had in stock here is the Breeze ones. I got it and tried it on. It is much less of a hassle to get it fitting r...

I think my pressure is fairly low. They set a 20 minute ramp for me, but I sometimes don't use the ramp because I feel like I'm suffocating. I like the c-flex feature. It's like the machine gauges how forcefully I exhale after a couple of breaths and I really get relief with the lowered pressure for...
