Overnight contacts are really the way to go for me. I don't like to have to clean them every single night. I guess everyone is different but I go for convenience. I know a lot of people who wear overnight lenses and love them...but I don't know anyone who uses a CPAP and wears contacts.

I am using a full face mask (Fisher and Paykel). I would love to hear from someone who wears the continuous wear contacts and how th...

[quote="Slinky"]Are you using a humidifier w/your PAP machine? Is it a heated humidifier? Now that the nights are colder have you tried taking your hose under the blankets w/you?

Cold when waking up

Hi,
Has anyone had the experience of feeling chilled when you wake up? When I wake up from a night of CPAP, I feel extremely cold and I never used to feel that way before. Any ideas?

Thank you everyone....and Thanks to collegegirl for your advice on the pantyhose. That's a great idea! Could I possibly use this as a chin strap as well?

Another bad night

Hi, I'm having a hard time getting used to the nasal pillows. Does anyone who uses them seem to have a feeling of suffocation when you first put them on? This makes me think that I'm not wearing them properly no matter how I adjust them. I wear medium size so last night I changed to the large size. ...

Thank you so much for your advice! I was thinking of using something like KY but I thought it would damage the integrity of the material used for the nasal plugs. I am definitely going to try it and get back to you on how I did.

Thanks again!

nostrils are sore

Hi everyone, So happy to have found this message board! I was diagnosed with sleep apnea a month ago and just got my machine 3 days ago. I used it the 1st 2 nights with no problem with the help of Ambien which the doctor prescribed to help me adjust. Last night I tried sleeping without the Ambien an...
