OSA & Life Insurance

My wife and I took an exam applying for term life insurance prior to my diagnosis. I spoke with our agent today as I haven't received any information concerning my policy and he tells me that my wife has been approved but my policy is still at the underwriters awaiting info from my docs on the sever...

I had the same problem. The advice I got helped me fix the problem. You need to delete all your cookies then try to log in again. It may take a couple of times but stick with it. A bit of a pain in the @#$! but it will work.

Welcome to the forum. We are all here to help. Just to help a little, on the mask style, ask the sleep tech to let you try several to find which one suits your style of sleep. I, personally, need the FF mask due to a lot of mouth breathing while I sleep. Also, I have some sinus issues that prevent m...

Welcome and enjoy your first night on the hose. You will have an adjustment period regarding your mask but, take it from me, the adjustment period will be overshadowed by how well you will feel after a decent night's sleep. Just a hint, don't overtighten your mask. I've been on the hose for 3 weeks ...

I was also a side sleeper. I slept on my back with the hose during my titration and had ZERO events. I have been on the hose at home for a week now and sleep on my back every night. So far, so good!

Is the ff with pillows a better fit? I need the ff because of a lot of mouth breathing during the night.

I feel like Marcia Brady...

Oh, my nose! Oh, my nose!

I guess my mask is too tight. Or improperly fitting. I have been with my new sleep partner 4 nights and I have developed a pretty sore area across the bridge of my nose. Help! Do I need a new mask or just go to my provider to have it re-fit?

The hardest thing for me was to not fight the mask. It seemed like when I woke up during the night, I was trying to breathe as hard as the air was coming in and once I learned to just relax and let the machine do the work, it became much easier. Thanks for all the support and I will check in often.

All was good. I think I overtightened the mask in the night as I woke up to what will probably be bruises across the bridge of my nose. Otherwise, the sleep was outstanding. Let's hope for another good night tonight!
