I use Ambien. Noise and such is not an issue for me because I'm pretty much Deaf. My wife though says that the machine does not make much sound that she is aware of. As far as the mask goes, when I started CPAP I was so tired really that I just fell asleep, though like I said I also use Ambien. 1, 1...

Out of curiousty, which direction is the vent venting air on yours? Down or up? It should be venting up. I had the exact same problem and just so happened to be at the docs office for them to change some settings. I mentioned of the very sore nose and we found out that I had been wearing it backward...

The Doctor changed your pressure and we need to set it." Well.....I came in.... hey outside of recovering fro...

Having Mask discomfort?

Well make sure, and this probably sounds ridiculous, that you are wearing it correct I found out that I was wearing my mask upside down. Still worked but after two weeks the peker hurts a bit.

I had a similar experience when they tried a mask that went over my nose. Kept breathing with my mouth cause I was not breating at all through my nose. They tried a pillow and that problem went away.

Funny Morning

Well I went this morning to the DME to get the ResMed Elite. I was pretty civil till the fourth time she told me that this was the machine the doctor prescribed. I just flatly told her that he was not responsible for this. That I told him what I wanted. I wanted to be an active part of my therapy. S...

Elite

Hello all. Going back to the DME to pick up an Elite today. I'm sleeping ok but am waking up a few times at night. I'm sure the information that the elite gives could tell me if I'm waking up from apnea events at any rate.

Talk to you later!
