bactaria in water tank?
I clean my resmed tank weekly with Ivory dish detergent, let it air dry and use only distilled water, BUT the tank still gets what looks like bactaria growing in the inside seams. It's a black growth, looks like mold, YUCK! It happened in my last tank too, so I bought a new one, but after a year it'...

pressure setting hosed when power tripped- help please
I have a Resmed S8 and over the weekend the outlet it's plugged into got tripped on our circuit breaker. We reset the breaker and I thought everything would be fine as I've unplugged and traveled with the machine. BUT...I woke up Sunday feeling like I hadn't slept a wink. My husband suggested checki...

David and others... thanks for all your tips. I did up to the medium size pillows last night and it seemed to work better. Also on the memory foam pillow - I couldn't feel the plastic buckle with the new pillow. Still got some air leakage from the bottom part of the nasal pillows, but my nose doesn'...

thanks for the advice
I visited the pad-a-cheek site and ordered some swift buckle pads. Thanks for the tip. Maybe I should be using the medium size pillows, I will give that a try. It's funny, but I do sleep better when on the side where the tubing comes out than the other. I don't like it positioned upwards like a snor...

nasal pillow trouble - any recomendations on masks?
I'm a newbie (2 weeks) using the Swift nasal pillows. I wake up every hour whenever I turn over and find they have fallen out of one or both of my nostils. I readjust and it takes awhile to get back to sleep, (if at all). I've turned the exhale holes up/then down trying to get a good fit, but I wake...

thank you all for your advice. I will bring a pillow to the appointment with the med. supply house. I would never have thought of that. I talked to them yesterday and asked questions about the features of different machines, but they had already ordered me one and said since that's what the doctor o...

thanks for the advice, I'd be temped to go it alone, but never having used a machine before, I have alot of quesitons for the medical supply place and would feel more comfortable talking to someone than just ordering online. Plus if the perscription is for a specific machine, I'd have to order that ...

new user to be questions
I had my sleep lab 2 weeks ago and am now dealing with the medical supply place for the cpap machine. I thought with all the makes and models out there I would be able to chose one with the features I wanted. (My insurance is paying for it outright) - but they tell me they can only order what the sl...
