Re: Need help evaluating Intellipap results
Hi Emilia, Wow, what a difference good info makes! I really like my Intellipap, especially for travel, and am thrilled that the results I've been getting are just fine. I'll carefully read the info that I downloaded using the link you provided, and I really appreciate your offer to provide additiona...

Need help evaluating Intellipap results
I've been using the Resmed S9 with the Swift FX mask for a year with great results. But recently, the cheek straps have started irritating my cheeks (even with the padacheeks covers). In order to let my inflamed cheeks heal, I used my Intellipap travel machine last night with the CL2 mask, which doe...

Re: my apap airflow stopped last night
Hi Everyone, Thanks for all the great comments. I called the online company that sold me the machine and they were very helpful. I'm going to mail it to them and they're going to check it out for me to make sure nothing is wrong with it. When it (or a repaired or replaced version) comes back with a ...

my apap airflow stopped last night
Hi, I'm not sure what happened to me last night but it worries me. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling like I couldn't breathe and realized almost immediately that no air was coming through my nasal mask. I reached down to my S9 apap and hit the start button and air immediately began flowin...

S9 slim line tube still not dry after a week
I received my S9 apap last week and it's ready to go. Unfortunately, the slimline tubing just doesn't seem to air dry completely (and I live in California so humidity isn't the problem). I cleaned it over a week ago and gently shook as much water out as possible before hanging it to dry. A week late...

Reporting internet cpap purchases on CA tax return
It's tax time in California and I'm working on my return. Once again, I am summarizing my internet purchases for which I paid no sales tax so that I can report them on my CA tax return and hand the sales tax over to the State of California (I'll resist the urge to comment on the lunacy of this requi...

I've been on cpap for 2 months now. I can't seem to use a full face mask or the hybrid so I must succeed with a nasal mask. I use the Nexcare 3/4" Transpore tape from the drugstore and run it from just under my nose, over the middle of my lips, down my chin, and end it under my chin on my neck. I al...

What are accessory ports on hybrid mask?
I've got a cold and want to use my new hybrid universal mask tonight. I've got it put together and ready to go but am a little uncertain about the plastic caps over the "accessory ports". Does anyone know if you're supposed to leave them on or remove them? The little booklet doesn't say anything abo...

Does anyone know where I can buy the new Hybrid (with the improved airflow and headgear) online? I have a cold so I need to order a full face mask. I've already tried the Ultra Mirage ff mask and it made my apneas even worse than in my diagnostic sleep study so I'm afraid to use similar sleep masks....

I'm your size, have severe year-round environmental allergies, and have been a mouth-breather and snorer my entire life. I was diagnosed with OSA in November and started cpap therapy in early December. Due to my allergies and mouth-breathing, I started my treatment with the ultra mirage full face ma...

Remstar Classic Heated Humidifier Leaks
I'm really stumped on my humidifier leaks on my Remstar classic heated humidifier. I follow the directions for resinserting the humidifier tank, and it appears to be reseated correctly, but it almost always leaks. Usually the leak is slow and I don't even notice it for a couple of days. Thanks to th...

Yes, I tried Sinus Buster over a period of months and found that it does temporarily relieve stuffiness, but it also packs a pretty peppery punch that might put most people off. I also developed very irritated sinuses and a sinus infection that took forever to cure while using Sinus Buster so I swor...

Hi Betty, I have many allergies year-round and have not found a full-face mask that works for me so keeping my chronically congested nasal passages clear is a high priority. This routine is working pretty well for me: 1. Drink plenty of water every day 2. Spray a saline spray into my nasal passages ...
