Just a note: The current discussion surrounding de-compiling and reverse engineering software pertains to MyEncore not EncorePro. Just for future reference. ************************************************ jskinner, Yes, one license fee for each copy is boilerplate EULA language. What you forget is ...

MyEncore Rewrite Coming Soon!
jskinner, I wish you good luck and look forward to the release of your MyEncore rewrite. You do not have to rewrite code if you do not have the source. Compiled code can be de-compiled and the resources extracted in order to form a new source. Since you called me out, I have a graduate degree from M...

Values
SWS, Stated truths and facts are not criticisms but simply truths and facts. I have been attacked from post one in here, including by you, and was responding to previous posts. Reminding people that decorum is in order was a response to those attacks. I cannot lose something I never had. Your "suppo...

Really!
To jskinner, It must be wonderful for you to have access to your prescription like that. I have a Respironics BiPAP Auto w/Bi-Flex. It is about three months old. My last one died on me. The boot sequence access is no longer available on my machine. I contacted Respironics about this and was informed...

Having it both ways and loving it!
SWS, It is not just cpap.com. There are others. I have no grudge with cpap.com at all. There is no disinformation from my end at all. You do not understand the difference between selling a software product and distribution. There are no distribution restrictions on the software. This is normal for c...

None
Wulfman, According to the software distributed EULA, Respironics is the ONLY authorized reseller and wholesale/retail supplier of the EncorePro software. Free downloads are not resale, wholesale, or retail. But cpap.com can't make money from free downloads. It is overpriced when it is supposed to be...

Inquiries...
First, It is true about the M-Series being added in the EncorePro v1.6i. That is one of the purposes for updating software is to include new features and equipment compatability. I am not aware of issues between the newest MyEncore and the EncorePro v1.6i software. I will further research this. Furt...

Nice Display of Ignorance
Just a note: Comparing this to Napster is just plain wrong. I am not going to distribute licensed retail software. And it is NOT P2P file-sharing. I am only hosting free software that is freely available to find and download on your own. I just want to make it easier to find everything you need in o...

Software Download, EncorePro/My Encore/Drivers...etc.
Fellow Forum Members, I am interested in starting a software honeypot. Since Respironics removed their free access to the EncorePro software and the other site that hosted it is long gone. I would like to start an organized, centralized single webpage where anyone could download the software and dri...
