Aiomed Headrest - replacement??
I am so sad, as my last Aiomed mask is starting to show it's age. I am wondering what anyone who used that mask has changed to and what success you're having? I am hoping not to have to try 10 different masks, but this one was IT for me... going to be hard to find a good replacement. Thoughts and su...

I have a Swift and a Breeze, and the Invacare Twilight -- it is a great mask. Just the best. You can sleep on your side, your back, your face, however you want. I love mine and don't know what I'd do without it. I do use the "rubber band fix" that you can search for here, to help bring it closer to ...

CPAP 6 month follow-up supplies?
I got a letter from my DME "provider", Apria. I have apparently been on CPAP for 6 months. They say I should replace my mask, headgear, tubing and filters every 6 months. Now, does this mean my insurance covers these "replacements" or are they just trying to sell them to me? Anybody know? Or would t...

There was a lot of talk around here for awhile of people using denture grip cream like polident; they'd put a line of it on their lip (not the inside of the lip) and then press the lips together. From what I read it worked quite well and washed off very easily. I cannot guarantee it worked because I...

I also use the ayr gel which works very well. I also use a saline nasal spray to moisturize the nasal passages. If you have a humidifier on your machine, you may try turning the setting up one. I don't know if you sleep on your side, but if you do, the mask may be pulling a bit on that side causing ...

advice on Breeze leaking
Hi, I thought I'd try a new mask (and also wanted a backup mask) and I got a Breeze. It's very comfortable, but I cannot get it to stop leaking. I have already switched out from the medium to the large pillows. It seems that no matter how I wear it I cannot get a good seal, and it wakes me up blowin...

Sizing Instructions for Masks
Currently I am using nasal pillows and am considering a FF mask to have at hand when I get a cold or sinus issue. My mouth would also fall open if I let it, so I tape and use the nasal pillows but feel I need a FF mask for backup. I am concerned because I don't want to invest a lot of $$ in a mask t...

I have a down pillow, and it did nothing for my ability to use the swift. I could never get it to stay positioned correctly, and I am a side sleeper. I tried positioning the tube upward and holding it with the velcro strap, but it didn't help; the side with the tube was till "top heavy" and I couldn...

hybrid for side-sleepers
Sorry to ask another hybrid question... but it is a lot of $$ to outlay, so am trying to get all the info I can.
I am a side sleeper, and am wondering if any side sleepers use the hybrid and to what degree of success.
Thanks.
