Hello friends

With stomach surgery (stomach cancer) my nutrition is suffering. Food is a word. and its hard to hydrate and eat with nausea and a little stomach. I'm grate...

update-surgery-cpap
Hello, A few fellow cpappers asked for an update after stomach cancer diagnosis and surgery to remove stomach. I had surgery on 4/16 and was in the hospital for 8 days. No food or water for 7, just sponges on a stick with ice water to wet my mouth. Food was just a word anyway. You're pretty much out...

I like the Optilife but can't seem to get the leaks down. I've not had trouble with sore or irritated nares. But not sure how the pillows should fit. I've gone back and forth between the small and med and don't see any difference. How does everyone like the head gear? I'm wondering if that's my prob...

Thanks College Girl and Nighthawkeye. That makes a lot of sense. What else can I do but try to stop leaks? I tried a different size pillow again for the Optilife last night and adjusted the headgear which seems to crawl. I'm almost at the end of my 30 days with the Optilife and as much as I like the...

How can it be?
How can the lowest AHI I've had (usually avg 5-7's) last night be 2.4 when I feel like it was one of my worst nights for sleeping and waking up to many leaks and very sleepy today. The leaks were higher than normal (2 weeks with using encore software have been high at 38 and 42 avgs for the Optilife...

new mask-what is encore telling me?
Hello all, I used Activa from starting cpap in oct-06 until 2 weeks ago and am trying the Optilife. Things seemed to be working with activa, sleeping all night for the most part, feeling much better. Thought I was on track and wanted a less bulky mask and got an Opti. Really like the light weight, c...
