Re: Resmed Resscan File Format

The IntelliPap Smartlink software is written in Java. It takes forever to load. I know that is not necessarily due to being written in Java though.

Re: Resmed Resscan File Format

abq_guy, I understand your arguments. You make good points. One option could be Mono. I have run the same C# app on WIndows, Solaris, and Linux. Newer features of the .net framework are usually not supported for some time, but right now I think 2.0 is fully supported. A web service would be convenie...

Re: Resmed Resscan File Format

The idea that the APAP and regular versions of the machine the same is highly likely. I do embedded software for a very big company and different models of the product (which can cost widely different amounts) is simply a matter of enabling the features via an internal configuration file stored on a...

Re: Tired of CPAP!!

My solution is not going to help many, but it works for me - I thrive on change. If I can't stand putting on my mask after a while, I get a new mask - or try aroma therapy - or get mask cleaning wipes that smell a little different - or get a whole new machine. I am not the most successful CPAP patie...

Re: Resmed Resscan File Format

Would some of you be interested in posting sample files from different machines so that we could work on the decoding efforts and "open source" some community driven software? I am getting an IntelliPap Auto today and would have loved having some samples of the data files to look at before hand. The...

Re: Update - not using CPAP

As far as being able to fall asleep goes, I actually wait until I fall asleep before I put my mask on. Because I don't sleep more than 90 seconds unless I am on the CPAP, I will wake up right after falling asleep. When this happens, I put on my mask. Occasionally, my wife will have to tell me, "Bob,...

Re: Is Anybody Happy with CPAP? Did Anyone...?

I have had a bad time with it myself, but I know people who have had wonderful sleep from the first day. Truthfully, my wife's brother's wife says she had a good night from the beginning. My boss' boss' administrative assistant loved it from the first day. One of the volunteer firemen from a little ...

Re: I have decided to buy a new IntelliPap machine

The webinars look impressive - but the company ignored a number of requests to give info about their decision to define an apnea as central only if the flow drops to 95% or less (according to the webinar -- that "works for about 85% of the people"). O. Couldn't you change those numbers if you wante...

I have decided to buy a new IntelliPap machine

I have not been on the forum for a long time. My CPAP journey started almost 3 years ago and i am still not sleeping well or adjusting to my CPAP. I am one of those who causes the auto-adjusting M-Series to go into a pressure spiral that will not stop. 2 Years ago, no one could really explain it - m...

I set the max at 8.5 because the sleep study said that my AHI went up at 9.

Den, I did not get Encore Pro running on Vista. I have version 1.6i and have not been successful with Vista. I Do have Encore pro running on a machine running XP. In my reports, I do see that the pressure goes up and flatlines at whatever I have the max set to. It is not showing any large leaks indi...

So, how does the auto setting work? What does it do? Why does it need to be set to a narrorw range? How does it decide to increase - and especially decrease pressure? What advantage does it have? Why is there a setting for 4 - 20 if that is never the correct setting? I think I would be better equipe...

I must not have been logged in when I posted the initial post. The reason Doc said set it wide open is because she expected that the machine would adjust properly. My sleep study said 6cm - 9cm. I do have software and card reader and I am able to take a look at the data. I do snore and the machine d...
