The Puritan Bennett GoodKnight 420 specs say their max flow is 120 l/m including leak rate, could it be that Respironics's max flow is not including mask leak rates?

My girlfriend snores on EXHALATION not inhalation. Clearly not an apnea or hypopnea related event, but would still show up on a snore index. Since you first noticed the smell half way through the night and that was also when the empty humidifier was discovered it would seem to me that the humidifier would most likely be the source of the smell. Possibly the heat on the plastic did a little chemical reaction. Can you bypass the humidifier...
