Thanks christinequiltss and rested gal.....You've both been a great help. I'm not real pleased with my DME, but that's another "evil" DME story and I won't go into that now. I've been on XPAP for 6 months now, and my insurance will pay 100% for a new mask (0% if I go out of network), otherwise I'd b...

I'm interested in getting the activa, also. But my DME is discouraging me, saying the overall size (from the bottom of the cushion to the forehead support) would be too long for me. In other words, the forehead support would be up in my hairline. I have used the Ultra Mirage and Devilbiss FlexSet 93...

Hi Imn, I'm a woman with a small head and am having good success with the Aura. I haven't deconstructed like others have. I only have two masks; the other one is a nasal mask, and it leaks and makes the bridge of my nose sore; so I don't dare tear my Aura apart! What I do with the Aura, is to pull m...

I use AYR gel. I found it at WalMart, but have seen it at other drug stores. Definately try the other pillow sizes. I use the Aura interface, and kept going back and forth between the medium and large, trying to figure out which was the best fit, but was having nare pain with both sizes. Then I hear...

So, if I understand you correctly, I will need the Encore pro & card reader to download the data, and also Erik's MyEncore? Sorry, I'm a little dense today - feel like I did before I started CPAP. Can't wait to get my Auto, so I can see my stats and see what's going on. I've been on CPAP for 4 month...

Need help with Avartar
I found an animated gif I want to use as an avatar, but it is too big. I thought someone had posted a message on how to reduce the images, but I can't seem to find it. I found a websight that would do it for free, but in order to get it small enough, I had to buy their software. Can anyone help me w...

Stephen, sorry if I misunderstood the question In the "Feeling of Suffocation" thread, she was talking about her ramp time being set for 15 minutes, and I thought she was still needing to know how to change that setting..

Severeena, If you're still wanting to know how to adjust the ramping on the S7, here is how to do it. My DME showed me how, so I don't think it's a "no no". I would like to know, however, how "not to accidently increase my pressure", if anyone knows. Turn the powere on; first it will display the ser...

Severeena, I just recently set my ramp time to 0 minutes, because I also felt like I wasn't getting enough air. Here's what to do: Turn the powere on; first it will display the ser. number, then it changes to the ramp menue. All you need to do is press the up/down button to adjust the ramp time from...

Poytaytoh - Good one! LOLI guess the cost will depend on whether you can buy it through a regular retailer ($50-$60), or you have to go through a DME ($2500 - $3000).
