Training not to mouth breathe

When I was talking to my sleep doc she said that sometimes those of us who need to mouth tape can dispense with our mouth tape after a couple of months as we learn not to mouth breathe or to let the air escape from our mouths. I would be interested to know if there is anyone out there who has found ...

Isn't it terrific to be dreaming again.? I've only been on cpap for a month and started dreaming again on the second night. Hi there, yes I am a mouth breather too. Fortunately I found out the solution during my titration study when the tech tried firstly a chin strap which had absolutely no effect at all then a full face mask which made rather embarrassing farting noises and then finally tape. Mouth taping

Hi there, I am a new 'cpaper' (only 2 weeks) but I thought I would add to the debate on mouth-taping. The tech actually taped my mouth during my titration study and my sleep doctor had no comment when I told her about it so I assume that at least in some centres here in Aussie it's sort of condoned....
