I am selling a FISHER PAYKEL HC 150 HEATED HUMIDIFIER. This is the backup to the backup humidifier. I have finally admitted to myself that I really don't need three humidifiers.

Give the newbies a break. You were once one too. Yeah they may ask stupid questions (in your ears), but they are the same stupid questions you once asked (or had). The fact is that ANY question that a newbie has is is NOT stupid to them, only to YOU. Sure a FAQ would be a nice addition, but if a new...

I personally commend Linda and Mike for getting out and doing something for others out of the goodness of their hearts. I think the criticism they have received is despicable. I think it's great to have variety and choice. Just as one mask will not work for everyone, people may prefer one forum over...

Yep, that's the kind I'm talking about. If I hadn't already spent the money on the Remstar humidifier, I would have saved the money and bought a passive one off eBay and used the heating pad I already had. Being a cpap newbie at the time, I figured there was something special about the dedicated one...

Nobody has yet mentioned position. Try sliding the lower seal of the mask all the way up to your nose and down to just above your upper lip and all positions in between. Position does make a difference, and like other posters have said, the Activa works best loooooooose. _________________ CPAPopedia...

The first Ultra FF I tried made a lot of noise. Upon close inspection of the exhaust ports, there was a small piece of silicone in one of the holes that did not get completely removed during molding. I picked it out and that solved the exhaust noise. The big problem with that mask is the very very t...

MrsSideways I am a back and side sleeper, and my approach is a little different. Of the three mask I have, Aura , Swift , and Activa , I find the most stable is the Activa . If worn loosely the ActiveCell cushion is like a suspension ballon between the seal against your face and the mask frame. I fi...

Washing and soaking might work but until it does might I suggest you put a piece of tape over the forehead pad. You can find sports tape at just about any drugstore, about $3 for 10 yards. It's a cotton tape so you shouldn't have any reactions to it, and it works for all other kind of stuff too. Kin...

I would say you definately "lost your mind" if you paid $106 to replace the headgear. Go to the top of this webpage and click on the cpap.com link and type in "activa" in the search box. You'll find that you can replace the entire mask for $99 and the headgear for $46.50. At least you haven't lost y...

Just had another thought. For a little more ammunition before confronting your supplier, give Respironics a call and ask what that "180" should have been. Your supplier wouldn't be able to argue with that. http://www.respironics.com/about_us/contactus.cfm Customer Service & Product Support: Tel. 800...

I received my Aura Wednesday and used the large for three nights. On Saturday I thought, "Gee, I haven't even taken the medium out of it's bag". I tried it on and it sealed much better than the large. Slept with it last night and it was great! I guess those guys at AEIOmed really do know what they'r...
