My father has been using the ResMed Activa Nasal mask for 8 years. He is 88 years old and has recently develop a bad case of mouth breathing. Re: humidifier help
When I turned our heat down that low ....I got rainout every time. The only thing that worked for me was the heated hose from http://www.sleepzone.com.au/
I would turn your heat up in your room and your humidifier down this will help with your rainout or get the heated hose.

When did Cpap.com start asking for a prescription for a mas
I tried to order a mask from cpap.com and I saw where they wanted a prescription . I have ordered masks and cpap machines in the past from them. They(cpap.com) do have a prescription for a RemStar auto from me, but it is over 6 years old. I do not have a prescription for a mask from them. I tried to...

Rested Gal thanks for the advice and for posting the pic also. You and Ozij are still "the best" on this forum. If it was going to be a problem, I was going to buy a small cheap fan & put it behind of the nightstand and cut another small hole in the back to let more air in. I wish, I would have done...

I'm glad yours does not. Some M Series are quieter than others. I can tell you Apria will not exchange this unit until I can find (quieter) one that I like. Thanks for the help. I still need to know if :putting my APAP in my nightstand and by cutting a hole out the back of the nightstand will this b...

There is nothing wrong with the machine. I was use to the old battle tank (RemStar APAP C-Flex) which is a very quiet machine. The M Series has that very low whining in & out noise. I am very sensitive to ANY noise. I though after 60 days I could have gotten use to it but I have not. I would post so...

Help with noise on my M Series
The noise on the M Series( REMStar Auto with A Flex) is still giving me trouble. I have cut a hole in the back of my nightstand for the hose to come through. If I close the door to my nightstand, I think I can deal with the noise. I know air ( no Air) and heat can affect the life of a CPAP. If I do ...

[quote="Guest4466"]I thought masks and devices fit patients based on OTHER things than price....... So basically, according to you guys, your therapy simply comes down to price??? Not features? Fit? Leak characteristics? Product reliability? Hey Guest, I am afraid a lot people base there therapy on ...

[quote="joey"]I have one that is brand new in the box because it leaks so badly that I can not use it. I have both head gears and although the newer head gear is better I still had to tighten the mask so tight that I could not sleep with it on. The Ultra Mirage FF is a much better choice in my opini...

You make the choice, we provide the service. I know, I know, "patient choice" - what a radical concept. Johnny Sin...
