Re: Getting Used to a FFM - Question

See my update here:

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=44903&p=401410&hili ... ce#p401410

about the nose bridge issue. It involves where the mask sits on the lower part of the face.

Good luck and sweet dreams!

Re: Getting Used to a FFM - Question

Thanks for the picture. I am going to need to use moleskin on my mask as well, for the same reason. I appreciate your picture for use as a reference. My guess is that there is some kind of friction from the mask (as opposed to pressure), or friction exacerbated by pressure, but I don't know why... t...

Re: FullLife experience

RE: Bridge of nose problem - I used a couple of small squares of flannel fabric from my scrap bin last night and woke up this morning with less redness in the nose area (I think) than I went to bed with. I am going to try using this system (thanks to the pad-a-cheek site, I realized this might not c...

Re: Which full face mask do you recommend?

I am liking my experience with the FullLife mask from Respironics. See my review here: http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t44903/FullLife-experience.html There is no "perfect" mask for everyone. I really liked the Liberty FFM from ResMed, but as I said in the FullLife review, it was leaking. It is go...

Re: FullLife experience

I don't think I wound up with the entire package since I got the DME's package.

FullLife Review/Nose bridge Update WAS:FullLife experience

Since I did not make the product challenge, but managed to get a FullLife mask through my DME, thought I would share my experiences so far with the FullLife mask. I am on my third night, replacing a Liberty mask that constantly leaked from the right nostril. I went to my (small) DME provider and the...

Possible fix for FP 432 FFM nose issues & foreheadSplint

I have had the FFP 432 (size Large, generally wear a medium in FFMs) since early December. The great news was that I had NO leaks - AMAZING for me!!! Like others, I noticed after about two nights that I had a sore directly across the bridge of my rather pug-ish nose, midway between the tip and the t...

dasuchbe- I am sorry to hear about all the problems you are having. I don't know why insurance won't cover the test... treating sleep apnea helps lower blood pressure, decreases risk of all sorts of other complications. it is so shortsighted of companies not to cover this. Is there an appeals proces...

A dry mouth (absent another factor like a new medicine with dry mouth as a side effect) means that your mouth is open enough to let air get forced through it. If you don't have humidity (or even if you do) the air can dry out the mouth pretty quickly... as long as you aren't swallowing air (I do thi...

It could work... but they're coming out with a new mask, too

I tried the 7600 in a large - old mask was medium shallow ultra mirage ffm... Though the info from Hans Rudolph says you should measure at a smaller size (or the same size), I measured into a large, and when I tried the medium at the office, I felt that it would pinch my nose enough to inhibit breat...
