I've actually gained weight. Can't figure that out. Maybe it has something to do with stealing the Halloween candy, I don't know. But, I've gained more weight being on it for two weeks than I ever did off it.

With some Colonoscopy's, they use something called "Conscious Sedation". When they do that, you are actually (mostly) awake and talking (which is disturbing to me because I always want to know what I'm saying). The Demerol causes you to forget the experience. I'd check with the doctor and ask them i...

I've been using the Pad-a-Cheeks for a bit and I love them. I still get some marking on my face if I forget to pull them back up from the folds and a line from the edge still, but that is unavoidable. It is far more comfortable and the marking is much less.

Great product!

Thanks guys! They did go away in a few days and have not returned at all. The other side did not form any. I think it might have been coincidence; I tend to get pimples there once and a while and maybe it just aggrivated it. But, it's true -- time for those nostrils to toughen up because it's going ...

So, the fact they negotiate price the reason why I can buy the mask and equipment for under half the price my hospital is charging my insurance? Since I also have to bleed 30% of the cost (and then some because outpatient is only covered up to $2,500 on my policy), I'm in the same boat. There are so...

Pimple Problem

Hey guys, it's been my second day with the Swift Mirage Nasal Pillows and I have formed a pimple -- actually, two next to each other -- on the edge of my left nostril. Has anyone had this happen to them and does the body get used to the mask and stop producing those? It's painful, but doesn't really...

Thanks guys! Until the pad-a-cheeks arrive, I just used a folded kleenex, which also did the trick. Not as elegant as the pad-a-cheeks method, but no marks

Marks on face from Swift Mirage

Hello! I have just spent my first night on a CPAP machine with the Swift Mirage nasal pillows mask and have had amazing success sleeping last night. I feel well rested and am starting to remember what it was like as a kid to have a full night's sleep. Very excited! The only problem is, I have a big ...
