Re: Still tired after all these years...

Thanks for all of the suggestions and assistance! I'm now set up to read the data from my sleep machine via encore basic. This is the summary for the past eight months: BiPAP autoSV Summary Average Peak IPAP Pressure - 11.4 cmH2O Average Percent of Night in Periodic Breathing - 0.9% Average Time in ...

Hi Pugsy,

Yes, that is my machine.

Thanks for the info!
I'll work on getting Windows 7 and then EncoreBasic...

Are all Windows 7 the same, or do I need to avoid certain Brand specific versions?

Encore Pro on Mac for Remstar BiPAP AutoSV?

Hi, I'm trying to get back to personally analyzing my sleep info but I need some advice... I use an older RemStar BiPAP AutoSV model # 1040716. I also have Encore Pro software from 2005, version 1.4i, Rev.4. I used to use this software on a pc laptop to check the data on my previous machine, a RemSt...

Re: Still tired after all these years...

I used to have an old pc laptop I used only for checking the encore pro software. After the laptop died I stopped checking the stats myself. But It looks like there are now a few options for viewing Windows applications on my Mac with minimal effort & cost. Time to get back to self-analyzing the dat...

Re: Still tired after all these years...

My vitamin levels were checked, D, B-12, etc. Anemia, Testoserone, Lyme disease, etc. And I forgot to mention that we have tried a slew of various antidepressants including Adderall. I believe any depression symptoms are just symptoms of the sleep disorder and it's accompanying fatigue. I'm seeing m...

Re: Still tired after all these years...

Hi Julie, I had a check-up about a week ago with full lab work. Everything came back fine. I use the Respironics BiPAP AutoSV with heated humidifier and the Resmed Swift FX nasal pillows. I have a bump on the bridge of my nose and an angular face that makes nasal and full face masks impossible to se...

Still tired after all these years...

About 15 years ago I noticed I was very tired during the day and my energy levels were low. I saw various doctors who examined me, tested my blood but never considered sleep apnea because I am thin and didn’t fit the profile of the typical Obstructive Sleep Apnea sufferer. Only after my, then girlfr...

I have also been considering a dental appliance to team up with my XPAP. Aerophagia has been a problem for me from the beginning. I was first titrated at 14, I couldn't take that so they lowered the pressure to 10 which didn't prevent my apneas. Retitrated at 12 they set it at 11 which was still unb...

I hate to see this fine forum dedicated to information and support on sleep apnea issues reduced to bipartisan political bickering. Obviously there were major mistakes made by local, state, and federal officials around this horrible and predicted disaster. It is understandable to be skeptical of unp...

I would also like to rent a 420 auto. My story is similar to loonluver's, Try as I may, I cannot get below 7-12 AHI. I feel better than with no machine (AHI 47) but still feel like kaka. Brain fog and memory loss are still unfortunate companions. Willsucceed's story is hopeful. The Remstar auto I've...
