Re: Senior Mad getting charged for CPAP bag by airline
I travelled to internationally to many countries and so far not getting into any dispute on my extra CPAP, so i was under the impression that there is an international regulation that CPAP bag as an extra is accepted. It seems that even in an US airport, Air Canada charged CPAP bag as extra. Good to...

Senior Mad getting charged for CPAP bag by airline
Interesting article: https://montrealgazette.com/news/canada ... in-his-bag
It is not the bomb threat, but my question is: Why did the airline charged him extra for the bag of CPAP?

Re: Apps with Cpap machine
The apps is very easy to use and sync very well each time. However, it only duplicates all the info you can easily see on the screen of the Dreamstation. In fact the Dreamstation screen provides the info with larger font size vs your phone. Question to myself If your DME switch off all the info on y...

Re: If you could get any brand new machine what would it be?
I've had a PRS1 auto (550) and a ResMed Airsense auto. I'm very happy with the ResMed. It's quiet, has a very comfortable algorithm, great screen with useful data, auto on works very well, slimline hose with heated hose option. I can't think of anything much to improve upon. Comparatively, my older...

Re: humidifier settings...
Everyone is very quick to say "you are sleeping with your mouth open". I have severe dryness while using my PR System One with heated humidifier and heated hose. My wife has watched me sleep with my masks and says I absolutely am not sleeping with my mouth open. I have tried FFM, nasal pillows, and...

Re: How to reset date on S10?
did you switch off your data connection? If you switch it off or your CPAP is now in "Flight mode" your CPAP is not connected to the local antenna so it it is not synch to your local time. My own experience when travelling, if you are connected to local data, your CPAP time will automatically adjust...

Re: Confused about humidity and "rain"
If you are using the heated hose, STOP
Change the hose to standard hose, set the humidity to medium and see what happens
In my case, no more dry mouth!

Re: OT: Colonoscopy
I don't understand why they say don't eat high fiber food before. Isn't fiber what makes your food move along and out -- which is the goal? In ordinary circumstance, you are right. However, in the prep period, your bowel movement is controlled by powerful laxatives in large doses, not by natural mo...

Hi Palerider
Thanks for the tips and advice. Yes, you are right. I should state that this CSR was not recorded in the last 2 years or so.
Following your advice, I took another screen shot here:

Re: Time for New Machine -- Overthinking it?
I am a CPAP user since 2007. Started with the Tank on loan from DME, then 3 months later bought the Respironics Auto M. Use this for 2-3 years and bought PR Series One model 50. The introduction of Resmed S9 made me switched to Resmed - then after about 1 year switched to PR System One Model 60 - tr...
