Well, it certainly baffles me that ResMed would release a product that doesn't work; and yet there's water in the tank, the heater is at max, and dry air is being pumped to my mask. It is foolish of me, though, to assume a design flaw when I don't know enough about the technology (I'm sure sleep apn...

I wrenched my mask tighter, and leaks don't seem to be an issue anymore (I'll only know for certain once I get to see the data at my DME). But the morning dryness continues. Plight of the mouth breather, it seems. I'm convinced now the H3i has a design flaw. My poor verbal description is as follows:...

H3i humidifier problems
So having spoken to someone different at my DME, I seem to be getting actual assistance with my sleep apnea, and not with emptying my bank account. :-) I was doing a CPAP trial using a ResMed Sullivan V Elite (a unit at least 5 years old), set at 7 cmH2O. I also had a ResMed Sullivan Humidaire, and ...

Thanks to everyone for the responses. It's all quite overwhelming, but I no longer feel like I'm heading ceaselessly toward a dead-end. One of the things I want to do now is ensure I can get an APAP. I'm still trying to decipher the insurance rules for Ontario, though. Residents are covered by ADP, ...

I am curious. You mentioned that you have a ResMed Sullivan V Elite Cpap. I have never heard of it and can not find it on the Resmed Website. Can you tell me more about it? I wish I knew anything about it, too. :-) About the best I can do is provide photos. http://www.joshphillips.ca/etc/cpap1.jpg ...

So what does "stick with it" really mean?
I've been undergoing CPAP treatment for three weeks now ( I first wrote about it here ). I'm in the middle of a month-long free trial from my DME. I have a ResMed Sullivan V Elite, ResMed Sullivan Humidaire, and a ResMed Mirage II full-face mask. I'm set at 7 cmH2O. My very first night was fantastic...

Well, none of my equipment is listed in the profiles section, which is probably a testament to the age of my DME's loaner equipment. :-) I have a ResMed Sullivan V Elite, ResMed Sullivan Humidaire, and a ResMed Mirage II full-face mask. Try to get a copy of your sleep study results. If you are only ...

CPAP newbie looking for guidance
I'm writing this late at night because I can't get to sleep. I found the irony amusing. :-) I was diagnosed with sleep apnea about two years ago, after a relatively unpainful sleep study. After what seems to be the prerequesite three-month waiting period, I got the results back and a prescription fo...
