Hi Linda, I would guess you probably followed the right steps. But, did you check to make sure the picture was the right size. I copied this: "Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 100 pixels, the heigh...

I took my son to the AWAKE meeting Thursday night. We were fortunate in that we met the lady who schedules the sleep studies. I recognized her voice and told her she had scheduled my son for Jan 4th. She started talking to him and took a liking to him. She asked If he would like to get in sooner. I ...

Grayson, Thank you for the excellent review. I too have found the need for a FF mask. I tried the ComfortFull and liked the fit, It gave me the best numbers to date, but the whistle effect was more than I could bear. I like how quiet the UMFF is until I reach 11cmH2O and then the leaks develop. I th...

Well, since this thread has been resurrected... My 16 yr old son is scheduled for a sleep study in early January. I've convinced him to go to an AWAKE meeting with me tomorrow night. My purpose is to take away the mystique and any fear he may possibly have regarding the treatment. The local meetings...

I have been looking for 0.3mg. I have not found it anywhere. So any time I go into a pharmacy, Walmart or where ever I look for it. So far this has been the easiest to cut up. I have not taken any. I will try them tonight. I'm used to falling asleep right away, but, I have found it difficult since ...

Hello, Sleepless in St Louis Wrote: Probably not Tooly. That looks like a flash card reader. A flash memory card is a whole different animal than the cards that are used in the Remstar CPAPs. My understanding is that we are basically stuck with one brand of card reader and that is because the driver...

Yes, get the reader. I don't believe yours will work. From what I read early on, the Mako DT-3500 is the same reader anyway. And you're right, do not use the drivers that come with it. Use the drivers included in the encore pro disk. I bought the reader with standard shipping and was surprised how q...

It's my understanding that the C-FLex settings, like the ramp settings, like the humidifier settings are ones we truly are "allowed" to change on our own. As for an explanation of the different settings, I have not been able to find anything besides them being different comfort settings. In other wo...

I went earlier this month. However, I had the added bonus of an endoscopy too. I let the Doc know in advance of the apnea. He simply told me to remind him right before the procedure and to also let the anesthesiologist know since they were going to put me completely under. The minute they inserted t...

DSM Only in that both perceived frequenices are measured this way as a matter of convention. Having said this, I agree that a high pitch whine may be more annoying than a lower hum which may be louder. This too will vary, depending on who is doing the listening whether they are trying to sleep, had ...
