Re: HAS CPAP LOWERED YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE?
In the last year before cpap, my BP wouldn't go below 160/90 regardless of what my doctor and I tried. I am still on some medication but my last BP reading was 117/68. So yes, cpap has made a significant difference in lowering my blood pressure.

Re: Worst CPAP moment
Well this thread is entertaining. I don't really have any bad cpap moments to relate, except I guess back when RG was on her pantyhose kick and I tried to steal a pair from my wife to experiment with. Got caught in the act and had to show my wife some of RG's posts before she'd believe me.

Re: Humidifier in Passover mode--Less congestion--Yea !
I don't actually run passover most of the time, but I do use the minimum heat setting. It really does help me with nasal congestion. I have run in passover during power outages when I had to use my battery pack and inverter. I was quite surprised that I found it comfortable. Hope it keeps working fo...

Hope your son gets well soon Goofy. We probably made him ill with all our talk of ducktails and bobbie socks the other night

I'm glad you've got an RT that knows your machine. I hope they come up with something soon so that you're getting more benefit from it.

Re: For Grins - Some Pictures of My Vent/Screen
Right side was cut off when I first looked at the pics in this thread. Then I used Ctrl while turning my mouse wheel to make the cpaptalk webpage "font" smaller and smaller. The entire picture showed up then. I always keep the font pretty large. I often have to adjust it back down temporarily via C...

Re: For Grins - Some Pictures of My Vent/Screen
Somehow I had always thought of a ventilator being a huge machine on a wheeled stand. Had no idea they were so portable.
