Way to dry your hose

Hi, I have puzzled over how to make sure that I wash my equipment early enough to allow it to dry. The part for me that takes the longest to dry is the hose. I don't know if others have come up with this idea but I realized (as a musician of 30+ years) that I could use the same method that clarinets...

For my 2 cents worth: I have been working with Lincare in Grants Pass, OR as my DME provider. When I first got my equipment (the ResMed S8 Elite) we went over the whole package and looked at what I would need and want to keep. My sleep doctor had asked for a compliance readout after one week so it w...

HI Self Seeker,

I don't recall opening my mouth. This occurred when I took a deep breath (probably after an hypopnea). I know of only one occasion with the Swift where I opened my mouth (that was when I had a dry mouth). Should I not worry about this then?

Thanks

Bad Breath and Nasal Mask

Hello All, I have a strange question. When I went for my second sleep study to determine pressure, etc. I used a nasal mask (I don't remember which one). I had a dinner that night that included squash and onions. Even though I brushed my teeth and all I ended up smelling the onions all night if I to...

No More Smell

Hi Annie123, I have found (in my limited experience) that while using my CPAP machine my sense of smell diminishes. However, when I take off the nasal pillows I find that my sense is really heightened. I find that for about 15 minutes I can smell things that I ordinarily don't. I know that this does...

Thank You

Thanks SelfSeeker,

I used your suggestion and found more information than I did previously. I also found information to help here at home in the event of a power outage. This is a great site.

Camping or being away from a reliable power supply

Hello all, I am new to the CPAP world and am very thankful to be able to read the collected wisdom of this group. I have had my machine (a ResMed S8 Elite) for a little over a month now and find that my world has changed. It is wonderful to be able to go to work in the morning and not feel as if I h...
