EncorePro and MyEncore
I am using EncorePro 1.41 Rev 4 and have downloaded Derek's MyEncore. However, when I try to start MyEncore I get the message, "Unable to access an EncorePro data base. MyEncore will close". I followed the download instructions, but can't seem to get the two programs to talk to each other. Suggestio...

Encore pro software difficulty
From what I have seen here it appears that the Encore pro software is not easy to download or interpret. Is this true? Is it too complicated for a regular computer user?

Smart card questions
I have a REMstar Auto (new), but do not have the reader and software yet. What does the smart card record other than compliance information? Dumb question, but I can't find any reference in the owner's manual to the use of the small inlet next to the power inlet on the back of the machine. What is i...

CPAP vs APAP - Choice?
I know this has been covered in this forum and I did do a search and found some posts. I picked up a RESmed CPAP machine with Swift interface today. My sleep doc's office had told me that I was going to get an APAP, but the DME told me that I didn't need the APAP (my setting is 9). Again, I have rea...

New CPAP and interface today
I am picking up a REMstar Pro2 with C-Flex and Breeze mask today. The sleep doc also gave me a script for the Encore Pro software, but the DME company said that they were the only ones that are allowed to use the Encore package. The DME rep had a little trouble understanding the difference between t...

Decisions to be made
I have had the diagnostic sleep study, RDI 62.8 and AHI 59.9, last week. I go in for the next sleep study with mask next week. Having had several tests in the late 1990,s and having tried several cpaps and masks without success at that time, I am hoping that this time around I will succeed. After re...

Use C-Flex with Breeze?
I read in the REMstar Auto C-Felx instructions that it is advisable not to use devices (masks) with narrow tubes, such as the Breeze.
Has anyone done this? Was there a problem? I am thinking of buying this combination.
Thanks
