Re: Bridge of nose...ouch!
Bob: I am sooo happy you put up this post. I recently returned to using my CPAP machine after throwing in the towel because I could not find a comfortable fitting without air leak problems. I am female and have a very small face, even more so now that I have lost approx. 15 lbs. Previous, my first m...

Hybrid Mask
Just wanted to let you all know that I took the plunge and purchased the Hybrid Mask. I originally had a full face Comfort mask which I found very uncomfortable, too much leakage and hard to stay compliance with the prescribed treatment. The air leakage by my eyes and by my cheeks woke me up more of...

Taping mouth shut? Yikes!!
have you considered using a nasal interface device (perhaps ComfortLite 2) and taping your mouth? No can do, (although my husband might suggest duct tape). I have a phobia about having my mouth covered even if I can breath through my nose. When I was a teenager, I had a really bad cold & was very p...

Re: mask info and teeth grinding
For lots of info on selecting a mask, see http://smart-sleep-apnea.blogspot.com/2006/09/cpap-mask-choices.html [/quote] Bless your Mile High 'Heart'. The information on your blog was awesome. I didn't quite have the time to read everything, but just the section about mask choices was well-written, e...

New to Forum w/ a couple of questions??
Hi: I just found this forum while searching the net for alternatives to the full-face mask I was prescribed. I believe it is the Comfort Full Face Mask (size small). I started w/ the CPAP last Dec. 05 after my second sleep study & 1st multi-latent test. It was difficult getting used to. I am a mouth...
