My GERD episodes went away as soon as I started CPAP. A contributor to GERD is the high intrathoracic pressures generated during an apnea, trying to breathe. This kinda "sucks" the gastric contents upward.

This is very common in new users, especially at higher pressures. Your body will adjust and the severity will decrease. As a guy, I just always viewed this as an added benefit.

I work for a DME and have luxury of being able to try and have several kinds of interfaces. The Breeze has by far been the most comfortable for me.

Hey College Girl, Apnea and snoring usually have a common cause - the muscles of the throat relaxing, allowing soft tissue to drop down to the back of the throat.
