Hello: I have ust purchased a Remstar Pro it has the smart card on it but i did not get the software with it. C flex is on it as well....... Tell me do you think this is a good machine. Awsome............ unreal how this affects CPAP people.

I do exactly the same thing. I get up around 4:30 or 5:00 and almost exactly on the dot....... I can get back to sleep most often but sometimes NOT! This can be annoying. I tried sleeping without my mask a night or two and I fel lousy after only a few nights and did not wake up at those wierd hours....

Simple decision to me..................

I think from the sounds of it depression could be more of a concern for you than CPAP treatment. If you can sleep without it girl........get off it. But the emotional thing and decision making problems you exhibit might be a reason to consult your Doctor on depression........ kicks me in the butt on...

One pressure

Seems one has to go through a process of elimination. Set one pressure say around my 12 which i understand is a lower pressure then go to bed and see the results........ next night step it up and so on until you have postive experience. I am not a doctor ............just an opinion on your question ...

Thanks Restedgal I have tried the button on front but perhaps i will try another cushion......... do you know we pay 85 Cdn for these......... being Canadian sucks sometimes...........lol

I could sure use someone with your sense of compassion and empathy here, I cannot even get anyone to help me as I am self employed with no plan........... they wont even return calls now and my Doctor did not even know he had to fill out the pressure setting on the prescrip............ go figger eh?

Setting a CPAP......... a Respironics Solo

Well I am getting nowhere trying to get help from health providers. They only want to sell you 2000 Cdn of equipment and if you dont or cannot afford it goodbye! I have an older Respironics Solo and as far as I can tell i need a pressure of 10 cm can someone tell me how to set this?

Iteach............. I am 50 and had sleep apnea diagnosed at 44 but ignored those readings by considering them "hocus pocus" Well I have just finished about two weeks of therapy and cannot belive the difference in my energy, concentration and general feeling of well being.
