Thanks for the tip. Almost as good as them paying me to take the meds.

...my sister asked me to make some of my world-famous bbq beans for her buffet table. These beans are not to be confuzzled with your run of the mill baked beans. I smoke a pork shoulder ( the hard part is keeping it lit) chopping up a bunch of the meat and putting it into the beans. The pot of beans...

I'm a nose-breather again! I looked up the loratadine contained in Claritin and it listed no warnings about other conditions or meds that I'm currently dealing with. The past two nights have been great sleeping again. I'm using the Walmart Equate brand. Just under $18 for 60 tabs. Saved beaucoup buc...

nose problem
Book 2: The Snuffling Ok, I guess there was more info that I didn't include in Book 1. My cpap has a heated humidifier (cranked up). It has a hepa-type filter behind the sponge. I tried changing it every 2 days for 10 days with no discernable change except in my bank account. I tried a friend's teap...

nasal passage problem
I've been a cpapper for 16 months. I came to this forum shortly after starting and was amazed with all the problems others were having. I have a mustache/beard with no leakage problems. I could sleep quite well on my back or either side. I even learned to talk (which is kinda weird since I live alon...

nose bleed
after 5-6 months on the resmed and oxygenator I have low level nose bleeds occurring. They aren't the type that actually flow but when blowing my nose there is evidence. My CPAP unit has the attached humidifier and I use the auxiliary heat unit in it once furnace/woodstove season started. The blood ...

apnea severity
My apnea was tipped off by my quarterly blood lests (due to some medications I take). My red blood cells were way high. On further testing my O2 levels were low 80s. Sleep test showed 100/hr with O2 levels in low 60s. I had to have two blood drains plus put on CPAP and oxygenator set at level 2. I c...

Thanks for the speedy reply
Guess I'm lucky then because keeping my mouth shut (at least while I'm using cpap) hasn't been a problem. Thankfully too because I've had a full beard and 'stache for the past 30 years. Maybe velcro instead of tape then?

taping question...why?
Hi all. Nice to know I'm not alone. I'm new with cpap (less than 2 months) and just found this board and saw the mouth taping topic. What is it all about? I'm perplexed. I have other questions and some peeves (ok, rantings) but I'll start with mouth taping. My mask covers only my nose and see no rea...
