Help on A.H.I. Readings
I have been running a pressure of 9 for a couple of months with an A.H.I. of around 1.5. Recently I decided to try an oral appliance. I was told the appliance will not eliminate CPAP in my case but could reduce the pressure. My pressure is not high but I would prefer to reduce it if possible. So fol...

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Terry, you may a point regarding CPAP versus APAP and back sleeping. When I first started, a pressure of only 5 bothered me so an APAP was great. At this point my range is 8-10 and I was titrated at 10 but my 90% is 9. My A.H.I. is 1-2 but can be 3 sometimes which it...

No. I haven't tried that particular pillow and it doesn't appear members have had experience with it. It certainly has some strong claims. I did try the PAPillow as well as memory foam pillows and I couldn't tell a difference. I suspect someone here has the answer because I always find the answer he...

Techniques for Side Sleeping
After 4 months I continue to make progress on CPAP (actually APAP) . I was a long time back sleeper and have to a large part made the transition to side sleeping but still wake up at times on my back. If I could reduce the back sleeping further I suspect I could reduce my A.H.I. further. I've not tr...

A.H.I. Encore Question
If there are zero Non Responsive events in the data over the night ,why is it important that the A.H.I. still be as low as possible (under 5.0) ?

Encore Pro
Well, I've got a mess here. My computer crashed and am trying to reinstall Encore Pro but it refers to a "user name and password for server". Huh? I know little about computers so would appreciate any help. Does the Mako smart card reader program need to be uninstalled before Encore is reinstalled a...

Facial Flushing
For the last couple off weeks I've had facial flushing much of the time and some anxiety to go with it. I don't believe it's the mask ( the 432 which has been great for me ) as the redness covers all of my face as opposed to just in the mask area. I associate it more with nerves than a skin reaction...

Encore Data
The two sets of data are for 2 nights.. 10/25/06 and 10/26/06.. the columns just didn't line up too well. I checked the numbers and they are correct. In the mornings I don't feel great but I feel a heck of a lot better than I have felt before CPAP. Each night I slept approximately 7 hours with 2 awa...
