RESMED Swift combo
Is it true that RESMEDs overstate HI index? My AI is almost always less than one. But, my HI range between 5 and 6. My leak range is between 0.2 and 0.6. I have noticed that my AHI does not really depend on the leak rate. I have a hard time getting my AHI under 5. Is this normal for RESMED elite and...

Resmed machines
I hardly get my AHI under 5. It goes between 6-8. But, I read somewhere that RESMED machines overstates HI index. My AI is almost always lower than one. I think combined HI and AI gives you the AHI index. All this time I thought it was normal to have an AHI around 5. After, reading this post I am ha...

Re: Help! Swift Mask User
http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=12578&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=epr Seems that lowering or even shutting off EPR has helped some people lower their AHI. MandoJohnny might be a real good source of info for you as I believe (by his information) he is also a swift user. Best o...

Help! Swift Mask User
I am a side sleeper. I've been using the swift mask for almost three months. I am finally getting used to it (keeping it on for more than 5 hours a night). But, when I check my data each morning I see that my AHI range from 5-8, most of the events are HI events and some are AI events. My mask leak n...

Regarding the Resmed H3i
I increased my humidifier setting from 3 to 4. What a big difference it makes. Now I can see that it is using up 1/2" of water everynight. I guess the settings 1-3 does not have much of an effect on H3i.

Re: Resmed H3i
[quote="Bob..."] I do have the H3i selected on my machine. When I took it to my DME, she said that thats how it works. It doesn't make sence to me. If levels 1-3 is the same as having the unit off, whats the point? I guess I have to use the unit at setting 4 and up to see a significant difference in...

Resmed H3i
My Complaint is with the H3i. I have been on this for a month now, and I have noticed that at setting 1-4, I do not see any heating at all. Settings 5-6 work but the water level does not change significantly each night. I think there is a design flaw in the H3i. It does not work well as it should. I...

Alarm feature
I found the same issue with my ResMed S8 Elite. The Alarm is too faint for me to wake up (I guess I am a deep sleeper). I wish they had different loudness settings for this feature. I have also noticed that I tend to take the mask off an hour into my sleep. Then, I wake up around 4AM and put the mas...
