AHI is up
Subtract the CAs from your AHI.

I can’t see any CAs. I’m viewing on iPad.

I honestly have no idea how to read this stuff. Is there guide somewhere?

Thanks

Re: Tonsils & Uvula gone, but back to Square One……and struggle with CPAP.

Thanks again CG Well after a bit of trial & error, I feel I at least got some sleep last night. Not fantastic, but not terrible. Maybe I’m getting used to the mask. I’ve realised that I have to wear Earplugs. Maybe it’s just the constant airflow from the front of the F30i.. Settings now Min=12, Max=...

Re: Tonsils & Uvula gone, but back to Square One……and struggle with CPAP.

Min=10, Max=20, EPR=Off https://sleephq.com/public/04d6bd5a-b28 ... 8242345885 No breathing issues noted. Sorry to be dumb. Does that mean the CPAP is doing its job or there were no issues to fix? Is there a way to accurately measure Sleep? I mean myself. Are those Whooshes or rings? Would they sho...

Re: Tonsils & Uvula gone, but back to Square One……and struggle with CPAP.

Thanks very much again CG! I apologise for being an absolute numbskull. I’m apparently dyslexic or irlands or something I’m too lazy to read up on it. Laziness & being knackered all the time due to no sleep. I’m not even saying I have sleep apnea. Could be something else. All I know is I really stru...

Re: Tonsils & Uvula gone, but back to Square One……and struggle with CPAP.

Should I have EPR ON or OFF? Your FLs were great with EPR 3. I don't understand why you want to change settings. The machine prevented breathing events on your latest posted night. I don’t understand how to read these charts Look at the charts and ask questions. Apologies CG, I’ve only just seen th...

Re: Tonsils & Uvula gone, but back to Square One……and struggle with CPAP.

Don't know why it didn't go very well, that's the best looking chart you've posted yet. That’s interesting! The problem was the leaking! I really should have bought the Nasal mask instead of this F30i. I’ll stick with it until after my Sleep Study on the 28th. Should I have EPR ON or OFF? Thanks!

Re: Tonsils & Uvula gone, but back to Square One……and struggle with CPAP.

That setting didn’t seem to go too well. https://sleephq.com/public/a7d17e7b-1c65-4702-917d-59ab3f33547e I don’t understand how to read these charts, but I had to quit in the middle of the night, so I’ll reset to Min=10, Max=20 I recently bought the F30i mask, which is 100x better than the F10 I had...

Thanks very much both!

OK, so I will reset the Max to 20 & try the Min a bit higher than the original setting of 10? Say 12??

Re: Tonsils & Uvula gone, but back to Square One……and struggle with CPAP.

I was watching a SleepHQ video on CPAP pressure settings. He was saying the spread was too big, causing sudden bursts. So I checked my settings, they were Min =10, Max = 20 I changed them to Min =8, Max 15 I’ve tried that for 2 nights. On the plus side the constant rush of air from the front of my F...

Re: Tonsils & Uvula gone, but back to Square One……and struggle with CPAP.

Yes, I’m diagnosed Hypothyroid. When I was at my very worst, when I was literally falling apart (before my OSA diagnosis & Tonsil/Uvula removal) that was before my Thyroid diagnosis. If anything, I suspect I’m still under medicated. I need to get that tested. I just thought the watch data might be u...

Re: Tonsils & Uvula gone, but back to Square One……and struggle with CPAP.

Don’t take any Sleep Medication. Just to be clear, I was asking about any medications. Many interrupt sleep. I’m on Natural Desiccated Thyroid, which I take on waking. I drink a coffee in the morning, never later. 1-2 cups of tea a day. 1 bottle of beer & a glass of red wine with my evening meal. I...

Re: Tonsils & Uvula gone, but back to Square One……and struggle with CPAP.

One metric I absolutely dispute is the “Vitality” rating. If I’m 98%, I wouldn’t want to experience 50!!!! If I were to rate my sleep quality & how rested I feel, I’d say 50% at very best! A CPAP machine can only measure things about your breathing. It cannot measure whether you are sleeping or wha...

Re: Tonsils & Uvula gone, but back to Square One……and struggle with CPAP.

Interesting that the results over 2 nights suggest that OSA is NOT my problem, with AHI of 2.05 & 1.63…. no. osa is still a problem. that's your TREATED result. keep on the hose and see if things improve for you sleep wise. good luck! Thanks zonker Are you saying that my AHI is so low because the A...

Re: Tonsils & Uvula gone, but back to Square One……and struggle with CPAP.

Thanks again CG Re the Scalloped Tongue, I wouldn’t think it’s a Jaw issue, I’ve got a fairly prominent jaw. My tongue is just big & fat. Years ago at its worst it was completely red raw & covered in smooth patches. It’s called Glositis or Geographic Tongue. Felt like it was burning in acid & I was ...

Re: Tonsils & Uvula gone, but back to Square One……and struggle with CPAP.

Well I bought a new mask, an AirFit F30i, which I’ve managed to use much more comfortably for 2 nights. The head-top connection definitely an advantage for a wriggling face-down sleeper like me! Interesting that the results over 2 nights suggest that OSA is NOT my problem, with AHI of 2.05 & 1.63…. ...
