The problem with Steered is, if the contracted provider is available, but connection is really week, it will still choose the contracted provider. Thanks for this, it sounds like these are 'steered' and asking/begging the DME and ResMed. I will try complaining but it sounds like these devices care ...

Your machine uses Resmed's phone company, not yours. I know this. But when it was on Verizon, it would use my LTE extender and get 5 bars. Then it switched to T-Mobile and it gets no signal (eg, -121dbm). So the ResMed decided to choose a crappier network. It literally decided to go from 5 bars to ...

Long story short. New ResMed AirSense 11 working fine on Verizon for a couple of weeks. Local Verizon LTE extender plus non-extended network is much better signal than T-Mobile. Device decides not to update to the latest Device Update 7 SW04600.14.8.3.0. Nope, didn't do something constructive and us...
