Re: Filtering Air
" Instead of buying an in-line air filter. ..... " By ' in-line' air filter ', do you mean a filter that attaches/connects to the hose or mask? In-line to me suggests a filter that is in the hose or mask connection. As noted most filters available CPAP's can be purchased at reasonable cost. The fil...

Re: Filtering Air
If the air environment in most homes contain minuscule particles that the standard air filters that comes with these machines cannot capture these ‘extra’ air particles, wouldn’t the originator of these cpap machines have realized their back of the machine filters weren’t adequate enough and added a...

Re: Filtering Air
How dirty is the air in your home that you feel that all of this is necessary? You and your family are breathing this air 24/7 without the CPAP. Our home is a virtual museum, the way my wife cleans. I keep getting those pesky ads about the in line air filter that suggests most homes contain minuscu...

Re: Swollen eyes
Thank you. I’ll check it out. It takes most of the day for swelling to go down. I have yet to find that connection between to tight and to loose. I started out with a full face mask and switched to the f30i, which also is a full face mask, but doesn’t cover as much as the f30. Truly a lot of trial a...

Filtering Air
Instead of buying an in-line air filter I purchased some cheese cloth and folded about two or three times and covered the back of the machine where the small air filter is located. I then used some scotch tape to tape it to the machine.Cheese cloth was usually used for computer machines for the same...

Re: Swollen eyes
I did see an eye doctor but they offered no suggestions except for using an eye cream to help with the swelling. I’m guessing they’re not familiar with the CPAP machines.

Swollen eyes
I wake with swollen eyes after using my bpap. I use an Aircurve 11 with a f30i mask. Mostly my right eye. I wet my fingers to see if I can find leaking air, but can’t find any? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Re: FACE is SWELLING
Thank you all for your response. I called my supplier and they measured my face over my cell phone (even though the hospital charged over 10,000 dollars to determine which mask fit best) They sent me a nasal mask (F30i) which works better, but condensation is to much; I can turn that down. But face ...

Re: Change pressure on bpap machine?
If you say so. All I know is it says air curve 11 and they told me the mask was BiPAP and all I know is the pressure is way too much. They give me this machine with little instructions and keep making excuses as to why I’m having problems even though I follow their suggestions. Like I said all I kno...

Change pressure on bpap machine?
OK, I was told to start my own topic. I’ve been on an air curve 11 machine. With a air vent F 30i full face mask the pressure reads 13/17, which is too much. This is a BiPAP machine. I don’t know which reading is in tag and outtake. I’ve been on this machine for almost 2 months. Is there any way to ...

Re: Resmed AirCurve 10 VAuto Changed Pressure By Itself
I have an Air curve 11 i just got set up about a month ago. Is it possible to change air pressure on these machines? How do you change air pressure? Mine is 13/17. Way to much pressure.

Re: New CPAP user looking for feedback
wow, not sure. Who can read and understand charts? My machine doesn’t allow for air pressure adjustments, except by doctor. I believe that would solve my problem if I could turn my down.
