1st Week on CPAP
Hi all, I have been on CPAP for a week now and although i'm still having trouble with mask (fitting, comfort etc), I have been using it consistantly and my AHI has gone from 52.5 to less than 5. Unfortunately, I still feel tired and fatigued during the day. I am using the Airsense 11 with heated tub...

Re: Just started CPAP - Resmed Airsense 11 EPR Settings ON or OFF
Thank you for the responses, I appreciate it. I understand it's a personal thing and I guess I will find out and adjust as needed. My pressure is on the lower side 8, so I think I will try with EPR off for now and see how it goes.

Just started CPAP - Resmed Airsense 11 EPR Settings ON or OFF
I have just started my CPAP therapy, my AHI was 52.5 (OSA) and the pressure set is to 8 as per my prescription. I'm using the Resmed Airsense 11 with a heated tube & an AirFit F40 mask. I didn't like the ramp feature which was set at 4, so I have turned that off. I also came across the EPR setting (...

Re: OSCAR v1.6.0 settings

LoL.......I meant input into my profile on Os...

OSCAR v1.6.0 settings
I have downloaded and installed OSCAR v1.6.0 and want to make sure I do not need to make any changes in settings before transferring data from an SD card once I start my therapy. I searched on this forum and found a post but it looks like it was for an older version as there were some differences. A...

Re: New to CPAP - Done Sleep Study & Sleep Titrations Studies
Did I forget what? Did you forget to do REM. I assume it was correct You must be a nice person. As a misanthrope, I always assume nothing is correct. If the tech messed up somehow then time will tell how much rem I actually get, I guess. Now that I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea I have picked...

Re: New to CPAP - Done Sleep Study & Sleep Titrations Studies
I assume it was correct, especially since I got a little rem during the titration study. As I said I've always had trouble with sleeping..... sometimes i'm up all night, or only get a few hours, every night's an adventure LoL

Re: New to CPAP - Done Sleep Study & Sleep Titrations Studies
Severity of sleep apnea doesn't dictate what machine we might need nor pressure requirements. You might or might not need a bilevel machine....gotta start with cpap though and see what happens. Besides....the ResMed AirSense 11 AutoSet has some limited bilevel function by making use of the EPR exha...

New to CPAP - Done Sleep Study & Sleep Titrations Studies
Hello, so i am a 60 year old male and I've been an insomniac for as long as I can remember and a loud snorer since probably my 30's. Due to my age and feeling fatigue, having brain fog etc my Dr had me do a sleep study and it turns out I have Severe sleep apnea (AHI of 52.5). I then had to go in for...
