I go there quite often on business. I take my wife and stay on for several free days of vacation. Great restaurants. Super seafood. Try the hawker stands for great local foods. People are very cordial. Yes, it is very clean. Strict laws but crime does exist so there is still a need to be vigilant. H...

I think the researchers would declare something is a "cure" for OSA if it eliminated the symptoms in a majority of sufferers who elect the treatment. However, there are folks who, by loosing weight or have surgery, have their reduced their OSA symptoms to zero. It is not classified as a "cure" in th...

Two years ago I was faced with a similar situation. CIGNA was switching from Apria to another DME. Apria said that they would not leave me without a machine and that I could keep their machine until the new DME was on board and I got their machine. You might ask Apria if they would do the same for y...

ehusen Boy have you missed the point (or maybe I missed yours)! The only thing I will say to your post is to suggest you take yourself to the pediatric ward of a large teaching hospital that treats very seriously ill children. If you are like me you will NOT walk away with joy in your heart that it'...

I volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House. I have met many kids and their families who wish that their biggest health concern was OSA. As bad as it is, OSA is truly an inconvenience compared to other maladies I've seen kids suffer with. Don't forget to offer up a thanks as you put your mask on each n...

I don't have an issue with this new policy especially since it doesn't apply to me. I never posted as Guest and not sure why I ever would. One question though, how does this work with dynamic IP addressing? If one operates with such a system is it still possible to track a post to a user? I also fin...

wouldn't all the users need a complex hearing test to determine which machine is for them? No. Sound specs are written, and test procedures followed, that gets the subjectivity out of the picture. One could use a spectrum analyzer to examine the frequency content of the noise. What you would like t...

Had the same experience with Apria and my insurance company. I finally asked my insurance company if I could buy it myself and submit a claim. They said OK but I would only be reimbursed 70% not 90% since the purchase would be out of network. NO BRAINER!! My next call was to CPAP.com. I then hand ca...
